    Yep, 100%. Remember beating Newcastle 4-3 at Anfield in the 'greatest-ever' Premier League game of all time in April '96 to stay vaguely in the title race. Lost 1-0 at struggling Coventry 4 days later.

    I remember Gibson's hat-trick in 1983, Hanson got killed that day by Dave Bennett. One of City's newish players that match was Stuart Pearce at left back, I'm sure of it. Relieved we tonked them 5-0 at Anfield a few months latter.
