Should the UK remain a member of the EU

We got all this shit now. This is where I'm glad Starmer is leader, I think he the best man to unpick the nonsense.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

Labour and the lib dems voted against May's deal. If they had a choice between this Johnson one and May's I'd bet they would choose May's. It imo shows this was not obvious.

I havnt come on here to glout. I'm admitting I got it wrong.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

Not at all. The problem was the question was a stupid binary vote of yah or nah. If the question was a vote on the deal it might have been different.

Italy youth eu unemployment. The eu really should have done more. The last ten years it lost it's way. https://www.afr.com/world/lost-generation-of-youth-is-the-eus-major-problem-20180914-h15d19

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

I called it wrong. My core beliefs are anti eu. I didnt vote out because I thought the short term economic impact would affect our youth. If the vote was tomorrow I would vote remain then ask the first person I saw outside the polling station to kick me in the bollocks.

No that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying. If the nostradamus sages were so sure of this outcome May's deal would have sailed through. Easy in hindsight which is partly why Johnson throws the slur at Starmer.

Well you can by then by that logic blame a lot of people. I thought he was the only politician in the country to offer a grown up argument to the uk leaving the uk. As did Starmer. You posted a video of Starmee the other day giving a fair and reasonable offering to the Brexit problem to Owen Jones. Corbyn and Starmer were joined at the hip and imo neither can be blamed but as I touched on before Corbyn seems the new anti semitism slur

I abstained and I still feel a cunt. At least I'm fronting it

All the above is unfortunately true

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

I dont think any of this can really be laid at Corbyn or Starmers door. They are imo well down the list in the blame games. If you're going to pick on Corbyn for the mess of us leaving the eu then its plausible and equally ridiculous to shine a light on Starmer. They are both imo well down the list on the blame game.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

Because they would have voted for it rather than this

Ok. I'm on here admitting I misjudged the flow of water, I got it wrong I'm as gutted as anyone. This is not in anyway some day of triumph for me. Dont know what to say really.

Yes and so? Where have I been hypocritical?

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

It's not quite as simple as that. My position was not that far away from Corbyn/ Starmer on brexit and the eu. Oh if you bizarrely criticise Corbyn in this tory/lib dem shitshow is Starmer also a tad guilty? He was opposition brexit secretary after all.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

It really wasnt. May's deal would have been voted through if it was .. the hard right were a small minority until they hijacked the tory party... Below is just one of the purges https://www.politicshome.com/news/article/twentyone-tory-rebels-lose-party-whip-after-backing-bid-to-block-nodeal-brexit

It's the end of ths tories as we knew it. (Rem song in there somewhere) They expelled a lot of their own party (the sensible ones). I suppose the ones pressing no deal will show up today.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

I'm not sure this has strengthened the Tory party. A lot of the more sensible one nation tories been thrown out they are left with the nutters at the back of the class. Edit . Example being Major, Heseltine, Ken Clarke etc have all voiced opposition to their own party.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

Not many even in the old Tory party wanted or foresaw this deal so I'm afraid your gif is wrong. No penny dropping here just sad resignation of the perils of giving an extreme government a whopping majority.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

I think they were hoping on a hung parliament where they could negotiate a more logical exit.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

Of course if the eu hadn't endorsed a 10 year policy of austerity which left 20% of Europe's under 25s unemployed they might have picked up the odd extra vote.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU

There are a few others well above him on that list. I'd bet my last dollar (I ain't got any dollars) a Corbyn govt would have secured a better deal for both sides than this.

    Anyway I blame Jeremy Corbyn.
