They are all the same on their weaker foot. None of them want to shoot or cross. I said this the other week its nuts how top pro's seem so unwilling to do it. Its simple there, one touch and hit it across the keeper. At worst he is palming the ball back out for a tap in

I think salah in diaz's position there scores - i appreciate salah is left footed so not your point of course...

I do find it a bit strange that top players tend to lack confidence in their 'weaker' foot.

  2. We have the 2nd best defensive record in the league and we have the 2nd best attacking record in the league with 7 games left there is every chance we end season with the best record for both, and the most of the thing that matters most - points.

They’re pretty good, and getting better, but this one was so obvious.

Naiveté perhaps, but still frustrating nonetheless.

They don't have the money the vermin have either so can't get as much content out. But they need to get sharper with what they do get out.

  4. You nearly, almost, possibly, maybe fear for them - you really sort of, in a way do.....

    This from an article today:

Everton will be at increased risk of administration should they suffer relegation. The latest set of accounts for the year ending 30 June 2023 revealed a loss of £89.1m and contained another warning over the club’s ability to continue as a going concern.

The accounts also disclosed that Everton, subject of a proposed takeover by the controversial US investment firm 777 Partners, have not secured the complete financing needed to finish the construction of their new stadium.

In ring yes he is very good all things considered. Its just the whole Prime bullshit, be it the shite at ringside getting used as props or the sponsherip in ring

In fact both nights full of shite promo shit

    Agree totally. I hate it.

The fucking slim jim ads all over ringside were irritating me too and way too in face IMO and that of course is not at same level as the prime promos/bullshit that surrounds it

The prime logo on mat is first time they've had that happen too.

God I hate these youtube belle ds getting involved in fucking everything. All so they can sell the shite products

It's literally a paid for belt, sponsorship for views and a belt

I can't stand Paul or that whole culture he has risen from - but you have to give the lad credit for how well he works for a novice.

  7. The tories just say the same stuff over and over again - but it sticks sadly.

This newish line they use about lab having no plan (used for every subject) and "taking us back to square one" is one I have heard them all come out with over and over again - from the top to the rank and file.

It is just relentless. I am sure I am not only one who has noticed this is a favourite go to line for them of late. But average Joe maybe does bot follow stuff might only hear/read it once on an issue and think 'hmmm yeah maybe they are right"

I hate how they do it.

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/wes-streeting-nhs-labour-private-sector-b2524953.html

Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Laura Trott MP said Labour’s promises were “completely unfunded”: “They cannot say how they would pay for their social care promises or how they will plug their £2.7 billion black hole because they do not have a plan. Without a plan, Labour will have to put up taxes – taking us back to square one.”

I think you are taking it all far too seriously. Clearly a divvy, but he isn't scrapping with anyone, or robbing, or (as far as we know) bunking in. One fella legging it on to the pitch to celebrate an absolute worldie by Suarez against those mutants really isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things. Genuinely surprised at how offended by it you are.

    Those mutants?

It was Norwich - about as harmless as it gets in league. But regardless, i'd hate to see it anywhere.

As I said it was IMO deeply un-liverpool fan like behaviour. More the sort of shite would see from some whopper following Ingerlund or some lower league team fan on a big day out at a PL club like us.

I'd like to think we/our fans are above that.

He looked like an absolute fucking beaut and for my money was an embarrassment to us. I hate that kind of shite, same for anyone who does same sort of gestures in stands without the legging it onto pitch.

  9. The pop when rhodes won was immense - yeah it was a load of nonsense to get there but they put belt on right man in the end and the scenes after were great.

The ring announcer even sold brilliantly!

It's all fucking moot about him getting a medal now anyway.

Like the golden samba award, the fans are launcing the golden weetabix award to be given to the most fragile player of the season.

So the lad won't be leaving empty handed.

You really telling me that sort of small time knobhead behaviour is sort of stuff you want to see from people following us?

This is not the point though.

Konate has to be rested constantly so he does not get injured again, he cannot play 2 games in a season. His appearances in PL:

    21/22: 11

    22/23: 18

    23/24: 20

There isn't really any real long term evidence of that.

21/22 he was behind Matip - Matip played league he played europe and cup - he was available all season

22/23 he started off season injured - once he came in he played twice a week regularly.

23/24 he has played twice in a week a few times until this recent injury. We've rotated a bit more than maybe usual back there given being in uefa cup and lower quality opposition - Quansah has played all the european games.

Centre half is not really a position that gets subbed either so appearance stats don't get padded out with sub appearances.

Konate has fitness concerns, but I just don't think they are as proven as being made out - time will tell IMO.

What should've happened happened with all the run ins except the Undertaker, who was not relevant whatsoever.

I'd imagine SCSA said fuck off, not doing that shite.

Was just an overbooked mess. Nonsense.

But at least the belt is on the right man in the end and can go back to being a feature of weekly tv and have some decent feuds over it.

I totally agree with you on that and in our last title chance in 22 after 31 games we were 1pt behind city and I think we’ll all take it to the last day again

If it goes last day it really needs to be in our own hands as there is absolutely zero chance the other two aren't winning on that day.

They couldn't hand pick easier games.

  15. The ending was superb. Perfectly executed.

    MITB concept is protected.

McIntyre has a nice little placeholder feud until Punk is fit, and will win belt in Scotland in June in meantime before what will be a superb programme with Punk.

Sensible and logical booking at its best.

    Long shot prediction.

McIntyre beats Rollins but Priest cashes in on him. Setting up a short Priest/McIntyre programme that ends at the PPV in Glasgow in June with McIntyre winning belt 'at home'.

It protrects the MITB concept with Priest cashing in and holding the title for a bit, and although Priest is a heel and McIntyre is too, McIntyre won't be one in Scotland  (ala Bret Hart in Canada when he was on his heel run) and he'll get cheered massively and create a 'moment' winning belt at home....and Priest is expendable enough to not be hurt by a short title reign and can drop back to the midcard no problem.

McIntyre then moves on to the long awaited programme with Punk when Punk returns and eventually drops the belt to Punk.

As for the whole bloodline/Rhodes stuff - I fear it will be an overbooked mess across both nights sadly.

    As i was saying.....

Exactly. I'm not pissed off at all about the title race today as we are still bang in it. The only thing I'm pissed off about right now is that we didn't put those shit cunts away 1st half.

    Oh deffo.

We had them at our mercy again and let them off the hook. The game should have been over by half time really.

That is frustrating, that is disappointing, that is fucking irritating - but it isn't the title lost, it wouldn't have been won either today had we put them the sword...
