I accept his explanation as well.....it was clumsy at best and it meant it was extremely easy to interpret that he had conflated the two things, but my view is he didn't mean to. He is still a massive fucking beaut though.

To be fair this is mostly a great point Sky are borderline fucking unbearable when it comes to jumping all over stuff. So when one of their employess makes a fuck up like this then people expresssing their outrage is really no different to how sky blow stuff up and sky also really drag it out and make mountains out of molehills often.

@dockers_strikeHillsborough of course affects us all in many differents ways - the worst affected of course being anyone who lost loved ones/friends.... It and everything that followed it and still follows it is of such magnitude and is so emotive it is always hard to talk about, think about and even in here type about - as you never know how others may feel, and even thinking about it is horrible....so even typing this i am mindful of upsetting you or anyone else and indeed myself!! But I do think though on your point you make about "Why has Tyler mentioned it when it was not even a PL game" is not really a fair stick to beat him with here....He talks specifically (and i quote) about 'football' and the 'game generally' when he mentions "Hillsborough and other hooligan related issues' Don't get me wrong he has made a very poor choice of words to associate/leave it open to interpretation that the two conflate - and that is of course the big issue here - but my view is he seems to have quickly moved to apologise for offence caused and has stated he was not trying to imply Hillsborough was linked to Hooliganism. A further apology when he next commentates would be in order in my view too. My view is he is probably genuine on this and he just about gets the benefit of the doubt from me. He absolutely should be put out to pasture as a commentator though IMO, not because of this incident - just because he is absolutely fucking terrible at his job.

It is a fucking joke. The PL's financial rules are just a token gesture - The PL have zero interest in properly enforcing. Covid is just a handy excuse to hide behind as they continue to allow clubs to get away with cheating safe in the knowledge that fuck all will happen to them.

They are shite - but this is hardest time to play them, when hope at start of season and excitement is there, crowd are up, players full of desire and adrenalin etc. Best time to face these shite teams is when they have had a good 3 months of being snotted and reality has kicked them in the teeth. All that said though we are of course much, much better than them and we are a team with a really strong backbone these days and we don't often fail against shite like this anymore even when it is the hardest time to play them. If we are anywhere near our best (even at this early stage when being at very best is never going to be case) then we win and handily.... I expect us to be good enough and to win.

The biggest problem with your stance is the assumption that "people who booed the anthem or agree with the booing will whinge how no-one like Scousers and about how Scousers are victimised" I boo it every single time it is played at a game i attend - and i boo it loudly and with real feeling - I hate it and everything it stands for/represents and i feel booing it is a perfectly reasonable way of showing my disdain for it and what it represents....... I don't give a toss what anyone else thinks about me doing so and i certainly won't "whinge" about how "no-one likes scousers or how we are victimised" So your assumption/generalisation is wrong in my case and in no doubt many, many others cases. You also stated in one of your posts that people can't moan if they get called gobshites for booing it....my point to you was that by same token you can't moan if i call you a gobshite for your stance on the matter and how you have expressed it here. -
Bring forth your Manchester UnitedBring forth your Londoners by the scoreAnd we'll duel with you two by twoAnd we'll hand a right jolly good thrashing out to youBecause Liverpool is the team that we adore

I want to see these fucking turds finally flushed this season. It will of course make them even more bitter and even more jealous (and jealousy really is a big, big part of why the act like they do) but i just want them fucking flushed.

I think you are a gobshite for coming on here and calling the Liverpool fans who boo the national anthem "daft twats" A viewpoint you can have no complaints about given your logic. -
Things you've had to Google that everyone already knew about...

Elon Musk I actually didn't know it was a person and thought it was some sort of brand. -
Jota is only one that i worry about. It is a recurrence of a hamstring injury and a fairly 'bad one' and we all know what can happen with recurring hamstring problems. Hopefully he recovers fully and hopefully it isn't an issue for him going forward - can be really debilitating if a player has a problem there, physically of course but also mentally.
-
Hopefully outside Oxlade and Jota all will be back very soon. Not sure about Konate - read some stuff saying looked bad.
-
Not my 'fight' but as i understand it, it would be.... Alisson, Kelleher, Oxlade, Ramsay, Konate, Jota, Tsimikas.

Spot on - these beauts and the millions like them all over the country are a massive part of the reason so many of us feel like we do about their shithouse monarchy, country, government and football team. I boo that fucking dirge and everything it represents loudly and with a fucking passion.

Didn't realise was 3:1 for kids....that makes it a bit less of a grab to be fair but still smacks of a bit of a cash grab to me - kids especially want to see the stars and that was never going to happen and then after that kids care about result in these things more than adults do and an u21 team effectively were never going to match up to a half decent Ligue 1 side who qualified for Europe and have put out a strongish side. Club could easily have made it free - but as i say the 3:1 kids ratio makes it a bit better. Hopefully plenty of local kids are in, feel a bit sorry for people who may have travelled with only 1 mind! Pricing: Ticket prices Adults – £27 Over 65s – £20 Young adults (aged 17-21) – £10 Juniors (aged 16 and under) – FREE. Tickets can be purchased at a ratio of 3:1 with at least one accompanying adult.
-
Not 100% sure but i believe maybe the best part of £30 for 1 adult and a kid.... IMO charging the best part of £30 knowing the first team squad would be playing the day before is a bit shit. Should have been a flim!
-
It is a cash grab because they could have given those kids these mins behind closed doors against same opposition as opposed to selling 50,000 tickets for a game the day after our first team squad played in charity shield. Or made it a fiver or something for tickets.
-
Feel a bit sorry for all those they have fleeced with what is just a cash grab tonight.

What an absolute fucking weapon.
