  1. Is this the same as the big bar you posted? I looked in shop today (the asda) and couldn't see big bar, but they had these.

Man City - the new bitters?

Sadly i agree. It is really hard to see how we get past these in league....even as good as we are. The players and the manager and his staff deserve so much more.

Man City - the new bitters?

I'd iamgine lots of us feel same. It is fucking horrible. To think we have a side this fucking good and it won't make the mark on history it should because of those cheating bastards is truly sickening.

Man City - the new bitters?

I'm devoed about league - absolutely heartbroken. Simply because i wanted this group of players and this manager and us as fans to have what was taken away from them and us because of covid laws in 2020....namely a proper presentation, celebration and parade..... So for that reason i am absolutely gutted...also gutted that yet again we rack up a total that wins 99% of leagues in history but get fuck all - and lose out. It isn't as if we have collapsed or let it go or anything we've kept winning/kept being unbeaten....what is it now 4/5 months unbeaten - but to see 1 draw punished with Abu Dhabi romping to back to back 5 goal wins to take GD out of equation is sickening. But as someone else said earlier in week - what did we expect though when football has allowed a state owned club with near limitless finances and complete contempt for the flimsiest of financial rules to take hold?... If we win another trophy this season it will be really nice and it will be very special if it is the big one - but as i say i am devoed, and really fucking angry about league being lost to those sportswashing, cheating bastards.

Good luck to all in the ballot today. Got a feeling we are due to bomb as got Madrid, and have been lucky in all 3 ballots this season for Milk Cup and the FA semi and final.

  14. You seem to have framed a whole point about not enough midfield depth/quality into the 4th one and him being the best 4th one around. Regardless of if you are right about him or not (you aren't IMO) there is a lot more to it than that. Let's look at it. Keita - well we know our stances on him. Jones/Elliott - Not withstanding their occasional cameos, it seems that they are not considered ready - in Elliott's case he seems to have (understandably) temporarily regressed following his post-injury re-introduction...he is still extremely young and raw......Jones - Jury is out IMO...not sure he is going to be what many hope he is...we will see I suppose. Talent is there, i am unsure the brains or the attitude is.... Oxlade - A waste of space, a shell of a player - done by injuries...has to go. Milner - 37 years old before end of next season That is it as it stands unless we want to add in Morton. With Hendo ageing and his perceived decline and Thiago’s carefully managed game time/the amount of games he misses and Fabinho being someone who misses a fair few games over a season there is surely a strong case for saying we need incoming midfield reinforcements - our 'back up players' have been and will be needed a lot....i.e. we need improved depth/options - irrespective of whether Keita is considered integral to the next 3/4 years.
  15. 90% of the league are a mix of mediocre and shite...who gives a toss if he would start for them or not? It is totally irrelevant to him being good enough or reliable enough for what we need. He has consistently been mediocre for us and also been regularly unavailable when needed. If you think our midfield depth is fine, good for you - i disagree and strongly. Hopefully we address it over coming summer and following windows.
  16. We are better than them, but have struggled with them in 3 games this season. Styles make fights and theirs is one we find tricky. Fabinho missing is a big, big blow. We haven't once this season been able to put out our first choice midfield 3 v these and we won't Saturday. It's a 50/50 game IMHO....hopefully no Kante or Kovacic for them. Hopefully we can go: Alisson TAA Matip VVD Robertson Thiago Henderson Keita Diaz Mane Salah

Aside from the odd season and we are talking really odd this did all start about 5 years ago.... We may get 92 this season and have already failed to win a title with 97. This season if we get to 92 it would have been enough to win the Premier League in 22 of the first 24 seasons of the Premier League, and maybe 23 based on goal difference, but not enough to win in 5 of the last 6 seasons. Prior to 2017, 92 points would have been the joint-second highest total in history. Since 2017, it's been exceeded in all but one season: 2017 - Chelsea (93 Pts) 2018 - Man City (100 Pts) 2019 - Man City (98 Pts) 2019 - Liverpool (97 Pts) 2020 - Liverpool (99 Pts) 2022 - Man City (95 Pts possible) 2022 - Liverpool (92 Pts possible)

Remind me again how often when before the last few years (i.e. this era of the sportswashing cheats doing what they have done) when 97 pts was not enough to win league and when 92 likely wasn't (like it probably won't be this season)....

Is right. Being forced to go to two of our toughest aways with weakened teams and them playing against weakened teams killed us....and IMHO the integrity of the league too. We did extremely well to make a fight of it after that, but yeah that farcical period did for us.

    Other Football 2021/22

Not having that, pal. Any team that gets around 90 pts plus has blown nothing IMHO.

    Other Football 2021/22

I am a fan of the mockering routine, but 'blowing the title' is bollocks. You don't blow anything being unbeaten in months (nigh on half season) - losing 2 all season and getting 90 pts plus.
  23. an tha

    Other Football 2021/22

When you can lose just 2 games, go unbeaten for about 5 months, rack up over 90 pts and still not win the title because sportswashing, cheating bastards have moved the bar to requiring near perfection, you know for sure football is fucked...and it is only going to get worse. We have a team that is as good as any we have had - and they look highly likely to win very little compared to what they should have won - and when that is because the cheats have done what they have done it is absolutely sickening....it must be so dispiriting for our players, they deserve so much credit for not throwing the towel in. It's sickening as a supporter and it is compounded by the knowledge that millions of footy fans across the land are happy that these cheating bastards are mopping up titles, as long as it stops us.
