Welcome to the new and improved TLW!

Some of you may experience issues logging in and will get an 'incorrect password' error. Don't worry, you haven't typed it in wrong and your password hasn't been changed. You will need to reset it though in order to log in. Click the reset password link and you will receive an email with your new temporary password. Once logged in, you need to choose a new password (or restore to your old one) otherwise you will be locked out again.

If you have an out of date email address linked to your account, then you won't receive the new password. If that's the case then you'll need to email me (dave @liverpoolway.co.uk) or send me a tweet @theliverpoolway and I'll update your password manually.

Any other problems or questions just let me know.

  1. Thank fuck we don’t have to watch this shite every week
  2. The last one I remember not remembering was Eric Clapton at Royal Albert Hall last year, the only thing I remember was the security guard that kicked us out of the bar at the end of the night was a red, but he might have just been saying that to get me out if there now I think about it.

Good value family holidays for this summer

Been to a couple of these parks, Pendine Sands near Tenby and Southerness in Dumfries & Galloway and they were decent. Could live in Pendine Sands if it wasn’t so far away. https://www.parkdeanresorts.co.uk/

Going for a piss through the night

It’s when you don’t get up for the piss that you need to worry.

    Road Cycling

It’s similar to the coast to coast, we’ve talked about doing it for years but it means someone getting off their arse and organising it which is where it falls down, in fact the text is going out now. http://www.coast-and-castles.co.uk/

    Road Cycling

Didn’t touch the bike last year, need to get my arse in gear and get out. Need to have a target to aim for and have been thinking about doing the coasts and castles Newcastle to Edinburgh. But it’s still just thinking about it.

    Would you take Coutinho Back?

He’s got a dodgy back, so it’s a no from me.

I think your body shuts down and opens up to let you deal with what you can deal with, so it’s different to the individual. Men an women tend to grieve differently, men compartmentalise and try to move on, women stay with the time until they can both move on. I lost my first born son to meningitis when he was 9 months old. A few days after he died I got to feeling that I wasn’t feeling sad enough that he had died so I tried to make myself feel worse. I realised I was starting to ‘lose it’ and stopped trying to make myself feel worse and I came back, this is why I think your body regulates you as to what you can and can’t deal with. I lost my mum to Alzheimer’s 3 years ago (2 years after diagnosis) and I was always terrified of losing her. I don’t know if it was because we started grieving while she was still here or that nothing could hurt me like losing my son.

    Historical pictures

I read a few years ago something that suggested Wittgenstein could be the reason for Hitlers hatred of Jewish people. Hitler came from a poor family and Wittgenstein came from an affluent family with all the trappings of wealth and the suggestion was that it was Hitlers jealousy of Wittgenstein that set him on the path, wish I could remember more about it as it’d make this reply more valid. I remember reading that Wittgenstein’s family was littered with suicides (dad and brother from memory) so life wasn’t really a bed of Roses for him. Tried reading some of his stuff but blew my mind, might have to try a page a day.

    What car do you drive?

Real easy to use, phone connects without fuss and plays Spotify no bother, real easy to navigate around. It's got a panel that you can draw out letters with your finger but I've never used it. It's a big car as someone else mentioned but it's got parking sensors and a rear view camera that works well together. You'll not be disappointed.

    What car do you drive?

I've got the current X5 and it should be perfect for what you want, nice balance of practical and got a bit of pace to it, there's a new one out later on this year so either wait for that or get a good deal in the current one.

    Adidas Trainers

Loved them but they smelt like a cat had pissed in them after a while and I didn't have a cat.
