  1. I love it here but might be moving away depending on where my next job is. Shenley is nice. It doesn't really matter where you live because it all looks the same (obviously some areas are nicer than others). But Shenley is a solid 'burb alright. I got my very first wicket as a wrist spinner against that lot, an lbw. We shitted on you that day, Dynamite. Your new team is rubbish.
  2. I'd have him back in an instant. He's pure quality and can play in numerous positions.
  3. So he's been here one season and we've seen enough of him to form a solid view of what he brings (or not, as the case may be) to the team. With a defensive record as poor as ours it seems sensible to focus on issues at the back. For me Mignolet's lack of aerial command has a profound influence on the rest of the defensive set up although I know others don't see it the same way. I think he was a bit better at this aspect of his game towards the end of the season but there's definitely room for further improvement. Thoughts?
  4. This sounds good to me. Borini is better and has youth on his side.
  5. There's no agenda. The agenda is wanting what's best for the team. I want Sakho to be an unqualified success, like i do with all of our players.
  6. With a league title at stake? I doubt sentiment was behind the decision.
  7. I think it speaks volumes that Rodgers left him out of the Newcastle game. I don't think he's fully convinced that we signed the right player.
  8. Interesting observation.
  9. I'll never blame him for the stance he took when he left. Between Roy Hodgson and Mascherano I would side with the Chief every time.
  10. I'd pretty much go along with this. It is hard to judge, but then it probably shouldn't be when he's supposedly the marquee signing and carries a heavy price tag. I have two concerns:- injury/appearance record suitability for Rodgers' possession based system The first one is out of his control and the second one is down to the player and Rodgers. If I were to guess then I don't think he'll be with us as a long term player, but hopefully he'll consolidate during his second season and prove me wrong.
  11. I was delirious when we were poised to win the league. Not quite as happy when it all went wrong. Not really sure where you're coming from, sorry.
  12. They are a damning indictment on the transfer committee.
  13. There are truths ("truths") and untruths ("untruths").
  14. What to do with these two? Can we offload them back to Spain and cut our losses, or do we keep a hold of them given our new CL status and the demands that playing 50-60+ games (hopefully) will bring?
  15. Is he any good? The jury is out for me. At one stage I thought he would form a formidable partnership with Martin Skrtel but he didn't convince me at all during the run in. I would have preferred it had Agger retained his place. I think we look a more balanced side in possession and defensively with Danny in the team. Thoughts?
  16. ****NEWSFLASH**** A internet hard man has escaped from custody. Have you seen this man? He was last spotted on Liverpool FC fans forum "the Liverpool Way" launching a scathing attack on popular stormtrooper cum forumite "TK-421". Local police have issued a warning: "If you see him DO NOT approach him. He is guaranteed to bore you to tears and has been suspected of actually boring grown men to death. This highly tedious individual is a threat to the general public and needs to be handled by skilled professionals trained in the art of boredom relief. A reward of $5,000,000,000 is available for anyone who can make him shut the fuck up and log out of the forum for more than ten seconds".
