  1. This was supposed to be a window to remember...the one where everyone finally woke up to how FSG do not give a shit about on the pitch matters.
  2. Sadly, this season feels like 99/00, Houllier's first full season. We were a shoe in for CL qualification, then last few games couldn't create a thing (ironically including a 0-0 at home to the Saints) and then came Bradford away...seems eerily familiar.
  3. Telegraph now saying he is going to Man U. Papers and their transfer stories, joy of joys.
  4. According to the Daily Manc, Michael Keane for £25 million if we get CL. Thought he was our Europa League fall back option...
  5. Hope Klopp has a rethink on a new contract for Lovren. Absolute gash again tonight, will never eradicate the brain farts he has, a new CB is a must in the summer.
  6. Sadio is coming home on the back of missing a vital penalty. Our shitness is infectious even thousands of miles away. And we needed him to give us a pick me up...
  7. I noticed he called out Redknapp during the second half, talking about his Liverpool heart and Redknapp duly obliging with a couple of us and we comments. Hyprocritical prick. As someone said with pundits it's expected, but as Sky's number 1 commentator he has to be impartial. The same could be said of Tyldesley on ITV. Alan Green does not hide his loyalties when it comes to us mind.
  8. How long before the heat is turned up on Henry & Co? To be in profit during the most lucrative transfer window in history still with major gaps in our first team is pure negligence. They are taking the piss, consolidating our position as an above mid table team and seem to be getting a free ride.
  9. If he was on the show this morning, he could really bring it back by apologising for doing it, and educate the uneducated.
  10. Never been a Joe Allen fan, but these impressive cameo's/performances since the boss arrived are becoming the norm. His game intelligence is clearly showing recently. Is he worth keeping as a squad player to supplement hopefully 2 dominant centre midfielders arriving in the summer alongside Can?
  11. We need a proper spine. Then add from there. Not rocket science, unless you're Rodgers.
  12. Beardsley, Barnes, Aldridge, Houghton, Whelan, McMahon, Johnston, Spackman. We were spoilt back then.
  13. Would be kind of ironic if he got sacked this week on page 442 of this thread...
  14. He was "immense" according to the manager and had "put himself into contention for the weekend". He will be back in the starting line up Sunday as Rodgers knows if he does not and we lose he will get lynched before facing the firing squad. Yet again a decision made based on self preservation and keeping the masses at bay.
  15. Maybe we did search far and wide for a new AM but no fucker wanted to work with a dead man walking who will be out of a job in 3-4 months. Unless you're a journeyman coach who could not believe his luck. Fuck off FSG and fuck off Rodgers. Inept cunts.
  16. Where is Terry Mac in this debate? Yes, he was box to box but he was a centre midfielder and one of our greatest ever players.
  17. Isn't it Champions League week when we play Swansea? If so, it won't be that week as you cannot the same night as UEFA fixtures, unless the FA schedule it on the Friday before the Mancs. And the FA would never shit on us...
  18. That's two left backs in a week that he has had on toast.
  19. Amazing, I have not given a flying fuck about this game saying all week that Southampton is the only game that matters, yet 3 hours to kick off and I am on edge, wanting us to play our best team and go all the way. In it to win it.
  20. It is our spine that needs strengthening. New keeper, dominant centre half, powerful central midfielder and a quality centre forward. Our edges are more than adequate.
  21. Maybe Coutinho is carrying a knock? It was only 7 days ago that he was MOTM and people were saying he was the best 10 in form in the league. After Palace, rest him until Southampton. Leave him out for Besiktas.
  22. This is not the Steven Gerrard farewell tour. Manager is to blame for that today not Gerrard even though he struggled, some horrific calls and puts real pressure on Tuesday's game. Expect Allen to get a new contract soon.
