I think they have gone too early. He will probably win tonight which makes him immune for a year unless they change the rules. That makes pm within a year of the next general election so they won’t want to change leader then. The rebels should have waited for the 2 by elections, they would have had more support. He’s playing them for fools.

I read somewhere that the '12 month' rule has been changed, ironically at the behest of Johnson and the Brexit 'Wankers' Corner' mob once Teresa May held on after a NC vote?

Yes Yes Yes but ... why are you not welcome in Peru?

Have you been interfering with Paddington Bears?

The reasons why there is a cold shoulder always waiting for me in Lima are complex, but to reassure you, it doesn't involve any marmalade misunderstandings.

  3. First thank you Dave for another season of fantastic reports, not least recently given your personal losses.

I am with you on the walkaround. My brother and I left after Origi's presentation, I didn't feel we needed to be peering into a huge crowd of strangers, strangers' friends, strangers' friends toddlers looking for a red shirt to applaud. That can wait until Saturday a Saint-Denis.

  4. If you can be bothered with the walk, parking on Bank Hall by the station, or on Stanley Road at the bottom of Fountains Road, works just fine (depending on what direction you're coming from of course....)

Not listened to it for years now, perhaps I should whilst working from home, what time is it on these days, still about half ten?

    It is.

I don't know if there is a 'life's small pleasures' thread but listening to PopMaster when some tool gets 3 points (and that's only because Bruce rolls it across the six yard line at the end for a tap in) is one of them.

Interesting that they chose to go to a Spanish court. I'm guessing any contracts with uefa (do each club have to sign up or is it done via the national FAs ?) will be under Swiss law. This is going to run for years isn't it?

It looks like the Spanish clubs made a complaint under Spanish competition law against UEFA, possibly for abuse of a dominant position.

Not only was Edmund Hillary the first person ever to scale Mount Everest, he was also the first person ever to take a shit up there.

For a horrible moment I thought that sentence was going to end with 'take it up the shitter there'.

  8. The back-perm mullet popularised by personalities such as Chris Waddle and Bob Carolgees was outlawed by UN Convention in 1991, shortly after the fall of Communism. Australia and New Zealand negotiated a twenty year block exemption, which makes this year interesting.
