Had a package arriving from Hermes. Said it was delivered and driver had taken a photo. I didn't have the package, was in all day, checked the picture, it was of a house in a different street nearby. Went checked with them, they said they didn't have it. Tried contacting the complaints service, they recommended I check bins and the local vicinity, even when I pointed out the picture was of a different house and that house also didn't have it. They just responded with 5 star feedback surveys to fill in. Thankfully an honest neighbour from a different house altogether in a different street, came around 2 days later and left the unopened package with me. If he had decided to take it, I'd probably still be struggling for Hermes to take responsibility.

I had been following Being The Elite on youtube from before Cody joined them. The evolution of AEW has been fun to watch. Their debut PPV had teething problems, but they seem to be learning as they go. It helps having passionate fans, whether that's sustainable will be a test for them. But AEW's humour has nicely aligned with the crowds and Jericho is endlessly watchable. The Moxley vs Omega match is a particular highlight of mine. Moxley crawling through the glass was hard to watch.

It's not without it's faults, but if you've read the graphic novel I'd say you'll still enjoy it.

Deputy leader of the Greens, Amelia Womack, denies the Green Party will be standing aside.

His words are worth roughly £210,000 - £214,999 a year of tax payer funded lucre. £214,999 is the only value I attribute to his insight and analysis. And I want a refund.

Should the UK remain a member of the EU
ElishaScottBC replied to Anny Road's topic in GF - General Forum
Correct. It's worth little considering the political landscape based on a fictional Remain victory. Brexit has shone a light on British politics, it is disheartening to many, it's illuminating to some. We have been exposed to more MPs, witnessed the frameworks of political law being tested, heightened importance on constituencies voting patterns. Shamefully the coverage resembles entertainment, reality TV in Westminster, where the mistakes have real world consequences. Who tops the popularity poll this week? It's both thrilling and infuriating, whilst seemingly endless. We are hooked on the dopamine effect of sitting on the cliff edge. Frozen in the light, is it the end of a tunnel or oncoming traffic? Opinions, lots of opinions with truth fragmented like blockchain technology through it all. Political will must harden as the impasse stagnates. Whether the outcome is positive or negative, Brexit has formed a significant part of the political landscape. Mary Lou McDonald said to Owen Jones this weekend, she doesn't have a scorched earth policy and doesn't take the view 'the ends justifies the means'. This is in reference to Brexit facilitating a united Ireland. I consider a similar view of Corbyn becoming PM. However Corbyn being PM shouldn't be seen as an end. Rather a massively delayed start, to an anticipated positive quantifiable change for society. -

I'm not giving up hope yet. I'll ride the rusty tractor 'till the wheels feel off, ending up submerged in a shitstream, wiping whiskey proof tears off my bloated face. Bring him home Michael Edwards, bring him home. -

Should Corbyn remain as Labour leader?
ElishaScottBC replied to Sugar Ape's topic in GF - General Forum
Why doesn't Jeremy Corbyn sing and dance about it on X Factor? Why no viral video on tax returns? Why not swinging on wrecking balls and licking sledgehammers? Unliked and unsubscribed. What about Ed Balls he's a decent mover and shaker in the political scene, he gets a thumbs up 10/10 . Liked and subscribed. Sign out. -

Good thing movies and cheese were put to bed, at first I struggled to come to terms with this, although one day it occurred to me, inside my head must be lined with old cheese and mature movies, or maybe mature cheese and old movies, alas the concept was apparent from the years of indulgence. To hell with you cushy day, the cane will reign again like it falls mainly on the plain in spa-...BRITAIN! The boy at the back rebelling with his 100x lines god save the queen god save the queen on the back of his maths book was right all along. He doesn't like marmite, y'hear? Oh you are not listening?! Maybe that european music is blocking your ears. Your propaganda won't work on me skytalker. Bring on the Morris dancers.
