Interesting article on a long-term form of the virus and why the Government’s advice on symptoms is out of date. Apologies if it has been posted before.

Interesting. I just read his piece. It was this time two weeks ago I started feeling sick - just a bit off, and some stomach discomfort. Had a stressful couple of days so didn't think anything of it more than tiredness/fatigue. Woke up on the Saturday morning felt like I'd been hit by a bus - terrible aches and pains and a cracking headache. I'd been feeling great up until then, working out every day, working on my laptop in the sun in my garden, no signs anything was coming. The only thing off was a sore shoulder, which I'd slept on funny. Anyway, felt awful, made it to lunchtime and ended up going to bed for three hours. Woke up feeling a bit better, went for a walk to the shop with the missus although I didn't actually go in (didn't think it was Corona cos I hadn't been anywhere in weeks). Developed a cough that afternoon. Went to bed about 9 feeling hot / cold. Checked my temperature about 10pm it was 38.8. Checked the NHS website - cough and temperature? Self isolate for two weeks.

So here I am two weeks later. Still got a cough it's never gone away. Apart from that I started feeling fine about three days ago up until then still felt a bit off and tired and in no way ready to work out. Was it Coronavirus? No idea. Who knows? Had all the symptoms but just stayed in the house.

It was stressful and took most of a day. In the end I used a video by a youtuber called Tech James but even his video had a vital instruction missing, to do with showing hidden system files. If you miss any files on the Vita that are hidden from the system on windows then the reinstallation of Vitashell and Henkaku will not work. I ended up doing it 4 times in a row and the last time just took an hour or so and was a full success. As it turns out I remember getting a great deal on a cheap second Vita so I have a second SD2Vita card so I will think about how I could use that.

It's opened up a bit of a rabbit hole - I'm looking at installing PKGj which appears to be allow Vita games to be downloaded free. The details are on this video...

Also looking at the possibility of moving the built in firmware from 3.73 to 3.60 which would result in Henkaku becoming permament rather than having to run it from startup and could also enable the installation of Adrenaline to run PSP titles also. Details on this video here...

Yeah Tech James is hit and miss. I have a Mac so had to use the one single guide on YouTube. Took ages. When I did the second Vita his files had gone. I ended up using a guide on a Facebook group and I still dont know how it worked tbh.

Apparently the best place is https://vita.hacks.guide/

Yes I've got PKJG - it's great! Some PC users use something called NoPayStation.

And yes mine are downgraded permanently. Adrenaline is really good - to be honest I think the psp has a better games library than the Vita.

  3. Nice one! 200gb is plenty isn't it. I'd have liked bigger cards (I've got 64 in one and 128 in another) but i made the decision to keep costs down and use what I had already.

The hacking and the SD2Vita mod I remember being quite stressful. Something always goes awry and you end up searching the internet for answers.

I never did like the N64 to be honest. There's been a lot of work on the emulator recently though, I might give it a whirl.

Retro Arch is great though - love having all the artwork. Although there are a few games missing, and the Speccy emulator is 48k not 128k.

The righties are having a bad night on Twitter. Their collective willingness to risk the health of schoolchildren to avoid even the slightest bit of criticism of Team Boris really ain't a great look.

Kirstie Allsop. Tory tosser. Got herself in a right shit river over schools.

Saw her picture and the name Carol Hambelton and thought,  fuck me she looks a cunt, but then I thought no its foolish to judge someone so flippantly so i glanced at her Twitter handle and under name she has added " hates Corbyn, hates Starmer, hates commies, hates marxits. Love Boris.

My initial reaction was correct shes a cunt.

She's done 16 Twitter comments/Retweets in the last hour all of a political bent. Who does that and why? What normal person behaves that way?

She's either a bot, on someones payroll, or just a cunt. Which is basically Twitter.

  6. Don't see why people get into conversation / arguments with other Twitter users. No good can come of it. The only reason I see is that some people love a good argument with people who have opposite views. That and bots.

Fucking hell I hate social media, it's just showing people up as proper bell ends. And they don't care how they come across.

This is England only, hospital deaths only, they are apparently doing hospitals plus care homes all UK now daily.

Excess deaths will probably come later, everywhere. Italy is also somewhere close to 50K I think.

Breakdown provided by Scott's chart is interesting, there have been 30 registered hospital deaths in England so far of people under 40 with no preexisting conditions. If you allow that the actual number of all cases in England in that age group was around 3 million people, it would give you a 1:100,000 chance of dying if you are under 40 and have none of the listed conditions.

I'm over 40. Fuck them youngsters!

  8. Be interesting to see what happens to the next lot of guinea pigs of the Tory experiment (school kids and teachers) when the schools reopen in a couple of weeks. Because you can count on kids to adhere to social distancing rules.

Kids will be back in school but gyms and barbers will still be closed and footy will still be two weeks off. This all seems very well planned I must say.

    Ha, ha.

    ”Well you can’t.”

”What do you mean I can’t? Boris said I could!”

    Christ.

Brother in law was telling me cruise ship bookings have gone through the roof the last few days - who the fuck would think in the middle of a virus pandemic 'tell you what, a nice cruise would be good, get myself trapped on a boat with hundreds of other people and their germs, nothing bad could happen there I haven't seen anything on the news like".

It is weird how the wet markets and laboratories are in the same region.  No conspiracy just weird.

Yeah the catastrophic highly contagious virus is nothing to do with the virus lab, it's the local food market. Everyone will believe that, right?

Saying that, worse has probably come out of St John's...
