Most of my bluenose friends and family are still great, but my nephew the other day couldn't wait to ask who we were getting to replace Jurgen. Bare in mind half his family are reds, a lot of his mates and his fiance. I told him aren't Everton not supposed to be the "hardest" fans in the city and he fucked off. He's actually a lovely lad but bring up Everton and he turns into a right little Gremlin.

I don't know any reasonable Blues when it comes to footy. They might be normal in an everyday setting, but mention football and they all turn into pricks, frothing at the mouth about corruption and red shite.

I give them credit for convincing him to come. I don't give them any credit for picking him - he was the most sought after manager in the world. It's not like they had to put much thought into the decision.

My worry is - without an obvious candidate that my grandmother could have picked, will they pick the right one this time?

According to Pearce FSG have only just started looking, as they were hoping Klopp would change his mind. 

I personally don't trust the club to get this right at all. With Klopp and his team out the picture who will be making the football decisions? 

I don't want to piss on anyone's chips, but the end is nigh.
