    As always, the Manc ruled media has gone ballistic and are trying to grant Fine Malt Whisky Fergie his wish and run him out of England. I really fail to comprehend how the Mancs can deny that the media is firmly in Whisky's pocket..instead they wail "always the victims"... 1.Suarez was sent down for 8 matches for ALLEGEDLY racially abusing Evra..Allegedly was enough for the F.A to find him guilty (something unheard of in a normal judicial system but then again, tell me the last time the F.A acted in a "normal" way)and impose a ban plus tar him with the reputation as a racist for life. 2. Defoe wasn't punished because he had been carded at the time..would Suarez have been afforded the same treatment? The answer is a resounding no. In upsetting FMW Fergie (Master of Hypocrisy), Suarez has incurred the wrath not only of the Old Scrapheap scum but also their lackies in the media. There will be more instances in the future,hope Suarez has a thick skin that's all I can say.

    BBC said that "The ceremonies were impeccably observed by both sets of supporters"... did IQ's and hearing abilities drop during before, during and after the match?? The damned media..how I detest them..Their one sided view of issues especially where Liverpool and Utd are concerned.We were bombarded relentlessly (especially on the BBC) by the news that Fergie and MUST had taken initiatives to impress upon supporters to end the chants about Hillsborough and Heysel.... Everyone saw how a section of the Man U supporters disrespected the occasion and yet the BBC report that the ceremonies were"impeccably observed"??

    A virtually disastrous transfer window..I'm glad that waste of space Dempsey didn't join us but at the same time, it is interesting (and disturbing) to note that he passed Liverpool over for Spurs.. Begs the question...Is it because the owners won't stump up the cash or because Rodgers cannot attract the players who could make a difference??

    Why didn't Liverpool go for Johnson?? A good player like that off to a waste of space of a team like Sunderland...

    I like Carroll and I think he has a lot to contribute..I just hope Rodgers gives him that chance..but he seems keen to be rid of him.

    If Gerrard isn't doing the business for Liverpool, then he deserves to br treated like any other player who is not performing..The club comes first..If the team is performing well without Gerrard in the team and not when he's there then he deserves to get benched..Legend or not, and I am a massive Gerrard fan.

    Is LFC cursed?? What needs to happen for LFC to re-emerge from the valley of mediocrity it has been languishing in since 1991?? LFC is still the most successful club in the country yet successive managers have failed to put LFC back on top where it belongs... What's missing? Why can't they get it right?

    I believe Carroll must stay but the gutless and the useless (Adam, Downing and Spearing step forward) have to be moved on.Adam clearly cannot cope with being just another player (unlike his superstar status at Blackpool) Downing and Spearing are not good enough...

    Carroll will have the last laugh on "Buck" Rodgers.... Could you blame them for laughing considering the complete shambles they were watching on the pitch??
