    The Ramos thing is just weird. Why would United pay over £35M for a defender who is almost 30 and has already has his best years behind him? And he's not even that good. And he's suspended for much of the time.

    If Balotelli and Borini are still here at the start of the season I'll be pissed. We could have got £14M, FOURTEEN-fucking million for Borini if that stupid twat hadn't rejected Sunderland. We'll be lucky to get £5M for him now. As for Balotelli... I'm willing to accept he has talent and he's shown his quality in the past representing other teams. But he's been a complete disaster for us, he simply does not fit into this team and we should sell the minute anyone shows an interest in him. We won't get much more than £10M for him so let's not be greedy and ask for silly money. Just move him on ASAP please.

    Would be a good signing. But frankly, if any other European team from a top league that's in the Champions League next season come in for him (and there certainly will be), we've got fuck all chance of getting him.

    £30M+ for Benteke is absurd. He'll be a cast-iron flop at a club higher than mid-table, absolutely guaranteed. I wouldn't put it past the imbeciles at the 'transfer committee' to try signing him, though.

    There's no questioning the lad's ability. Those who say he's overrated are deluding themselves. He's an exceptional talent at 20 years of age and is only going to get better. I think £50M will end up being a bargain for City, if the transfer happens. He's going to be worth a lot more than that in a few years, I guarantee it. Anyone who doubts that must have missed some of his best performances for us. All he needs to do is add goals to his game and he'll be a world beater. Having said all that, he is a spoilt little bastard and if he wants out we shouldn't dig our heels in and force him to stay. Sell him to the highest bidder, excluding Man U if those cheeky fucks ever decide to make an offer for him.

    We tend to start poorly anyway so might not be a bad thing to get the worst away fixtures out of the way first. Expect a shitty beginning of the season before we start seeing improvement late in the year and early 2016.

    That's the thing. The White Walkers story is one of the main themes of the show. Who is going to be telling that story? Who is the hero that is going to lead the fight against them? Killing Jon Snow removes all and any interest in the Wall arc.

    I'll vote for us to remain, even though I have concerns about the EU, especially its expansionist policies. And I don't believe the bollocks about how we're doomed as a country if we decide to leave the madhouse that is the EU. We'll do okay but economically there'll be a few years of hurt and would give way too much power to the xenophobes/Tories so we're better off staying in and trying to bring about changes that are needed. The EU needs to wake up and stop the bullshit "fundamental values cannot change" line they're always trotting out. Such a rigid attitude is causing more grief than is needed.

Some woman's match is actually the top story on the BBC sport page ffs. Nice to see Agger still going strong. Denmark won 2-0 vs Serbia with him in the team. Thanks to whoever decided we'd be better off with Lovren, Toure and Sakho. Cheers.

    The Brazilian, all day long. He would have become the greatest player of all time if it weren't for those injuries. He lost 3 or 4 years through injury which was tragic for him and to football. And he also made a bad decision to leave Barca after that incredible season he had there. If he stayed at Barca and free from injury, he would have been even better than what we saw of him.
