  1. This is released weekly so I let it build before returning. Episode 4 and 5 were a bit shit, acting poor, may not even bother with the rest of it.
  2. He's wrong about their squad, it isn't comparable to Brighton or Brentfords. If all 3 had car boot sales there would be queues at those 2 and tumbleweed at Everton once Pickford was gone. If they were all free I'd consider Iwobi until the summer, the rest I wouldn't touch.
  3. Gordon was going for £60m in the summer, £40m now having had a career of pretty much fuck all. Curtis Jones is worth more than him based on every single metric.
  4. That Southampton handball looks a penalty to me, if Burn doesn't have his leg wrapped around Armstrong's leg then it's a certain goal.
  5. See Stacksy this is why you will never understand. Real Madrid score twice in a minute to beat City because they have a hundred years of winning in their DNA. We beat Barcelona 4 nil because we're not losers. Accept losing as much as a 5 aside in training and you're fucked. It's not statistics or formations or squad cycles. It's why Spurs are Spurs and Liverpool are Liverpool. Imagine sitting down with Thiago, son of a world cup winner and bulging trophy cabinet of his own and saying listen son we're going to lose on purpose to make life easier for you next season. How long before the transfer request arrives in from the agent? I go with 3 minutes, the first 2 where him convincing himself the conversation actually happened. Maybe if Jurgen tells him Stacksy thinks it Will benefit him he may be convinced to stay.
  6. Marcus Rashford made an interesting comment before the City game, he said Ten Haag had brought the winning mentality back. Doesn't take a genius to figure out that Ole was a fucking loser. I said the day he threw the Leicester game that he was finished as a top flight manager, you can't ever accept losing at big clubs. How many people think the Madrid fiasco was the day it started to end for Rodgers? Now we have our supporters suggesting we actively look to lose regularly. Fuck that shit and then fuck it again. If its the conference league it's the conference league. Its only embarrassing if you choose for it to be. Fuck what anyone else thinks. There will be positives, we will play and beat minnows with our kids, we will find out names of multiple teams we've never heard off and go to places with gargle for less than a pound, entry to home matches will be cheap as chips and we could get to win a trophy without breaking sweat.
  7. Listening to the Monday night club earlier and they said Everton have the first purpose built women's football stadium. If they stopped googling firsts and concentrated on football they might not be so shit.
  8. Plus Frank Lampard could still be available.
  9. Feel a little but sad, like the day Ole went. Its like final episode of the Sopranos, while you enjoyed every minute of it knowing its over is a sad occasion.
  10. We've a game in hand and have to play both sides we're chasing down. Win those and its 4 points. Man Utd's amazing run of results that returned to them to global superstars included cup wins against Aston Villa, Burnley, Everton and Charlton, all at home too. Also included in their miraculous rise to the top of the game are narrow 1 goal victories over West Ham, Wolves and Fulham. In summary they're are still a little bit shit. They have also sign Martin Weghorst, an actual donkey. We don't need to get back to brilliant, just a little less shit than we are and we will make 4th.
  11. I don't think we will catch Arsenal. Offer my dad a bet on it 2 weeks ago, wouldn't be as generous again. City will still win it but Arsenal will be second. Nice to see Utd drop 3 points in Fergie time this week. Title challenge lasted about 4 days.
  12. He's not even getting dragged back and wrestled by defenders anymore.
  13. Players too scared to go the fans, 4 players plus Lampard went over. Next week will be pure poison unless Big Dunc and Kendall's watch on the touch line.
  14. And those that were shit at Brighton get to warm their arses on the bench. Fuck resting, these lads are dropped and deservedly so.
  15. Do people actually read the words before flying off on one? What I read is the opposite of what the above reactions are for. Looks like the end of the line to me.
  16. Finished 6 seasons of the Americans, excellent TV. I thought the first 4 or 5 episodes in the final season were a touch slow but overall its well worth getting stuck into. 9/10
  17. Thiago has stopped playing that disguised pass he always used to play. He done it in that clip and it reminded me I haven't seen it in months. The one where it looks like it's going to the right wing and he fires into it the right sided centre forward position instead. Probably a lack of movement that has prevented that pass.
  18. Fuck the haters, they took us from Roy Hodgson to world champions. Whatever they done in between or since can be discussed to death but the above is an absolute fact. Whether it was by luck or genius doesn't matter, they took a club that was heading for where Everton are now and turned them in the best side in the world. Absolutely be sick of them, wish for something better but hate is just not on for me. They done what they said they would do, the next lot won't.
  19. Madrid only play about 15 players and he's one of them. He played the super cup final last week.
  20. I'd go Ali, Trent, Gomez, Konate, Robbo Keita Thiago Milner Mo Gakpo Darwin I thought Bacjetic looked like a duck out of water against City's experienced midfield. Chelsea will have similar levels of talent and experience in midfield so I'd sit him out for this one. I've gone with Milner but no issue if it's Jones or Elliott, shouldn't be Fab or Henderson.
  21. My daughter is Éabha, passport control is the same everywhere, they have a look, try to process it and then give up.
  22. January deaths don't count, I'd be the Real Madrid of deathpool if they did.
  23. Lloris is reminding me of Mingolet. He has an ability to never be where the ball goes.
  24. That was a mad stat, this is the 7th time they have been 2 down at home at half time. I'm not sure I remember us ever being 2 down at home at halftime under Klopp.
