Is he actually any good, or just an oft-injured myth?

Inspired two classic songs. It's doing some heavy lifting for a creek.

Could have been 3-0 for Villa. City, in the second half at least, created sweet fuck all. Out-worked, in particular.

I bought an oil-filled heater. It's costing me a bit in electricity, but it's very good at heating a single room or a small area for a long period of time. I've had all sorts of heaters, living as I do in the frozen north, this one is the most effective.

James Remar in "48 Hours" Thought he was a brilliant bad guy.

"Turkish Delight! Who the hell eats Turkish Delight?" Belfast I thought that was very good. If Branagh wants to churn out Agatha Christie remakes in order to fund more like this (if that is indeed what's happening), I'm all in favour.

Ake knew he was coming, and just shat out of the challenge. Was a great header.

He's not the fastest player in the world (or he wouldn't be back on the bench watching Doku) either of the defenders chasing him scythe him down, take the red, and the match ends 3-3 anyway.

That one is worth a listen: the "chosen people" quote isn't his belief, but part of his 2015 critique of attitudes amongst Israelis.

I wanted a red-card-filled 0-0 draw. They're both in the chase for top four, a point dropped is a point dropped.

McTominay the driving force in United's attack. Says it all, really.

Maguire offside.

I think I'd rather watch the banner flyover.

In honour of Kissinger's passing: "The Killing Fields" Story of the relationship between two journalists set in war-torn 1970s Cambodia. It's a fantastic film. 10/10

The Tosh character, at least in the first couple, seemed shoe-horned in for comedic affect. Very jarring to me. Binned it--I didn't really care about whodunnit, or any of the characters.

A long article by an Israeli newsmagazine, +972, detailing how relaxed bombing rules and the use of AI has led to Israel killing so many innocent men, women and children. And an article by the NYT claiming that Israel was aware a year ago of Hamas's intention to carry out an attack, but discounted the possibility of it happening. This is probably behind a paywall, but it's too long to post here. Hopefully the details will be in other publications soon (if they aren't out there already).

They've charged the teenager in KC with aggravated battery. He's 15, charged as a minor. Due process, etc.

You set up a group who get paid to innovate, they're going to innovate. Even if the innovation is detrimental. Not just sport, everything. Over-designed, overly-complex, does a hundred things poorly instead of the two or three required adequately. ('ll stop there, as I'm starting to feel a bit like Abe Simpson.)
