  1. Fletcher, Carrick and Park?! Oh, you've seriously got to be joking. I'm pissing myself with laughter at that. Good night, all, it's been a long miserable day
  2. I'm astonished you think their midfield is stronger than ours. I really am.
  3. Our goalkeeper is better. Our defence is almost as good as theirs. Our midfield is better. Our strikeforce can be as good as long as Andy Carroll performs like he should Reina Kelly Carragher Agger Enrique Downing Lucas Gerrard Kuyt Suarez Carroll That's a strong starting XI, although some people will vary by a couple of players or so. In any case, we've proved it over the last few seasons. We've beaten them at Anfield a few times comfortably, and not forgetting walloping them 4-1 at Old Trafford (even when we didn't field our strongest XI, and we had to put Hyppia on and move Carra to right back, and go a goal behind). It annoys me that some people really think we are light years away from United, when infact we are not.
  4. After the initial disappointment of drawing with Sunderland, we saw our side beat Arsenal and Bolton, with pretty good performances, and I was very heartened by it all. Now, after these two embarassing defeats, it's clear Liverpool don't have the mentality to compete on a title assault. To think that our starting XI is as good, if not better, than Man United, and yet, the Scum sit top with 100% record. Fucking makes my blood boil that does.
  5. Isn't Barclay a big-time Manc Scun fan?! Well, at least, hats off to him for having a go at Slur Alex.
  6. Sunday Supplement truly is garbage. I cancelled my Sky subscription (which included Sky Sports) a few months ago. I won't be returning to Sky. Sky Sports are so pro-Manc anti-Liverpool, it's unreal!:wallbutt:
  7. Wasn't that what owl-faced Werthers-sucking clown Hodgson did. Let's dumb down expectations? To be honest, I never realistically thought we would win the title, but yes, after today, it's gone for this season. I thought we would get 3rd this season, ahead of Chelsea, but behind the Manc clubs. We still could, but it's going to be tough.
  8. It's difficult to be positive on a day after today (especially after the Manc Scum won again). Losing to Spurs 4-0 is a true embarassment, although they didn't score their three other goals till we had nine men. Okay, not much of a consolation I know. Against Wolves, I want to see Gerrard, Lucas, Downing and Kuyt in midfield. I want Bellamy and Suarez up front. As for defence, Kelly, Skrtel, Carragher and Enrique. As ever, Reina in goals. It's gonna be a real test of character, but surely we will win the next two games [brighton, Wolves]?!
  9. It's still a massive concern IMO. There's a fairly good chance we will not finish top 4 or a trophy this season.
  10. I really hope we can, but my real concern is Reina and Suarez. If they leave [i.e. if we have a shitty season], we will need to rebuild again. I couldn't bear that.
  11. This is not a knee jerk thread. How can we recover from this? Also, who also fears that should be fail to get into the top 4 or win a trophy this season, that Suarez and Reina will be off in the summer?
  12. I know we were down to 9 men for a while, but that has got to be the most embarassing result and performance since the Premier League began [1992].
