  1. This is what happens when you don't teach history. Head-the-balls like Kemi will try and fill the gaps for their own political gain.
  2. Let Klopp have a year off and then double his wage and give him the option of working from home! He'll surely bite at that.
  3. If it weren't for the refs, we would likely be 5 ahead of Arsenal and 8 ahead of Man City at this point of the season. So although some of our displays lately have pissed me off, we aren't second place because of them. It's because these cunts have effectively decided the season for us. How anyone can say that's not corrupt is beyond me.
  4. I know the country has a significant rump of cunts, but is cutting disability budgets really a vote winner? Bat. Shit. Mental.
  5. Some of the half-time comments on here were excruciating. Fulham have beaten Arsenal at home and got the most home wins outside of the top 6. Yet we've controlled the match bar 1 usual brain-dead passage of play. Oh, and the away fans were great, from the outset.
  6. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/apr/19/tory-activist-katie-fieldhouse-appalled-response-mark-menzies-claims So the Tories have known that something slightly illegal happened since January. I'm sure that MP will shortly be writing to the police to investigate.
  7. I hope it topples right on top of his fat grid. The talentless blert.
  8. Random I know, but WhatsApp have changed "online" status to "Online" and "typing" to "Typing". The capitalising of the first letter is freaking me out.
  9. I'm not sure why, but he winds me up. He takes so many unnecessary touches of the ball. When there's a simple passing opportunity you can guarantee he'll hold on to the ball. The midfield in Klopp's best team here were winning the ball and passing it almost immediately after. The play slows down to a crawl around Curtis, add that to our sideways passing between Virg and A.N.Other centre back and it doesn't help us at all.
  10. No idea why everything has been so cautious. Sarah's gilt-edged chance effectively ended this tie. He's done as a top level player, shouldn't start anymore matches and should be cashed-in on at the end of the season. The Saudis might still cough up big bucks. Hopefully.
  11. https://www.theguardian.com/science/2024/apr/18/drug-shortages-normal-in-uk-made-worse-by-brexit-report-warns Drug shortages, now normal in UK, made worse by Brexit, report warns Some shortages are so serious they are imperilling the health and even lives of patients with serious illnesses, pharmacy bosses say. Another benefit right there. Who needs medication right
  12. Will have to apologise to Toxteth. He's actually made the forum reflect on the positives.
  13. Says a lot about these organisations and lobbyists that they saw her talking about cheese and pork markets and thought that she's their Manchurian candidate.
  14. Or if you don't want to leave any bruising.
  15. Actually, could have made a better distinction here myself. Should have been Israeli government and Jewish people in line with the original post. My bad. Knuckles rapped (or is it wrapped?).
  16. Even at 0-3 this is realistically our best chance of another trophy. You just know we'll put out our strongest available side. If nothing is happening just sub the more important players at 60 minutes and put some melatonin in their tea so they get a good sleep before the Fulham match.
  17. Just because some people are gaslighting the conversation here doesn't mean you go and do the same thing times 10. There's a distinction between the actions of the government and the Israeli people. To conflate both is as bigoted as the tweet that bumped this thread.
  18. First proper visit to Bristol and we were taken around by my mate who has been working in Bath/Bristol since just before COVID. Definitely won't be out last time down that way as it was quality as you say.
  19. Jonathan Nolan went seriously off track with latter seasons of Westworld so it's good that he seems to have got back on track with this. 3 episodes in and it's been good so far.
  20. If anyone is in and around Bristol of a week, I'd highly recommend Matina and their Kurdish kebabs in the St Nicholas market. Seriously good stuff that.
  21. Israel seems to be quite clumsy or negligent when it comes to medical care. If they aren't removing people's limbs they're probably secretly sterilising them or something like that.
  22. Saw the video of the attack earlier, how he's not dead is a miracle. The assailant must have missed the lessons on how to stab people properly for sure because the only other explanation is that the preacher truly is blessed by his boss behind/above him.
  23. It happens. You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
