It's the Endo the world as we know it.
Seriously, it would be nice to hear from people who actually know something about him. Presumably those based in Germany.
-
Probably not a world beater but.... do we need a proper DM against most teams at Anfield? Possibly not. Hopefully it's to tide us over until January when we might get Andre.
Big thing with players that age is how they are doing physically. Is he on his last legs or does he have another 3-4 years?

He's moaned about how the club and klopp in particular have done nothing to help him adapt and help him improve or tell him why he wasn't involved. I've got a few Fulham mates who seem to know someone connected to him too who say he doesn't want to come back. Funnily enough I was away with them in the off season when they were telling me and they were shocked when I said he's got a high opinion of himself if he thinks he'll get another chance as he doesn't look equipped to play for a top team with his lack of defensive intelligence and work rate. They love him.
I'm surprised by that. Klopp always seems like someone who's very hands on with players.

Chelsea getting both Caicedo and Lavia is a car crash for us. How we respond in the market now defines our season
We aren't going to compete with a club that just throws money around and offers players 8 year contracts. Nor should we.
I've no idea what Boehly is doing or whether there is method in the madness but we should stick to what got us within a hair's breath of 4 trophies a year ago.
Are we really to believe that there aren't other good quality DMs around? I refuse to believe it.
-
Boehly seems to be completely nuts.
Does he assume that he can buy success in the short term and then sell the club to a prestige owner (Saudi?) when the bills become problematic.
-
Will we definitely get Andre in January? He looks quality from what I've seen. Is a sneaky loan deal really off the cards if it comes to it?
Aren't we getting a bit carried away? is signing Caicedo necessarily going to make or break our season? I'm not sure we need a proper DM against the park the bus sides at Anfield, Bajcetic looks a proper talent and Mac might be able to play there if needed. I'm more concerned about the right back position/formation with Trent playing in midfield. Have we really got that sorted?

Okay. I'm confused. Just confused.
How good is this guy?

Is there something going on with Ramsay? Rumour that he's got rid of his twitter account. From the bits I've seen he looks a real talent. Never sure what injury it is with him?

Lots of different types of midfielder in that list, not all are suited to every midfield role we have.
Point is that is 8 players. Would we really bring in another unless someone is leaving?
-
Personally I'd love Barella but if Klopp likes McAllister go for it.
I can't see us signing two midfielders unless Klopp really doesn't want Trent to play there and someone like Tiago is leaving. I mean Hendo, Fabinho, Curtis, Bajcetic, Elliott etc How many do we need?
-
I'm scratching my head a bit. What sort of midfield are we looking for? Do we expect Trent to play there week in week out next season? Curtis has skill and energy. I know Fabinho hasn't had a great season but are we giving up on him? He's only 29. Hendo might also benefit from having his game time managed. I'd like to see us sign someone with energy and ball winning qualities but not sure why we'd be targetting the playmaker/passing type.
-
Luke Chambers has signed a contract. Don't know much about him but he played in pre-season am I right?
-
He played 34 games in 20-21 and 27 last season. I realise quite a few of those will be as a sub. A lot of precautions were obviously taken over the eye injury. How many weeks was he out for? Wasn't there something else too? Covid?
-
With Curtis I believe people are forgetting he lost a couple of months due to that freakish eye injury. He also would have got more game time in most seasons but for the avoidance of injuries by our other midfielders. Whilst he's got the skills to hold on to the ball well, he can slow things down by not passing one touch. I'd still back him to improve on that.

Looking for more depth on the right hand side - I've mentioned him before but Charles De Ketalaere looks class. Don't think he'd be that expensive either.
-
Charles De Ketelaere. Never heard of him before but he popped up on my youtube feed. I like what I see. Skillful, good left foot, good physique. I reckon he could do well.
-
Are we really signing another midfielder if Naby is getting a new contract?
Tiago
Fabinho
Henderson
Keita
Jones
Oxlade-Chamberlain
Milner
Elliott
Milner and Ox could be going I suppose. So if Naby stays that is 4 midfielders on big wages. Would we really have another one?
-
The price keeps being reported as £4.25bn. Yet everything I see suggests the club valuation was £2.5bn. And where exactly is the money (£2.5bn?) going?
-
Last summer I think I said we should get Danjuma and Hlozek. The former will be more expensive now but I'll stick with Hlozek. He looks a proper talent.
-
We've been linked with Fabio Vieira. Looks a nice little player. Similar to Elliott but a couple of years older.
-
I'm going to be controversial here. Not sure an £80m four year deal for Salah is a good idea. He's 30 and that's massively more money than anyone else is on.

Good luck to him. I'll always remember that magical moment against AC Milan.
Rather than the ball just watch Franck Kessie. That's the best bit
-
Ramsay definitely looks a talent from youtube. Probably got some way to go physically but you'd expect that for a teenager.
-
Who do we think might be leaving in the summer? Aside from the obvious ones:
Keita
Gomez
Tsimikas
Firmino
I'm not saying I want any of them to leave just that they might for one reason or another.

Trouble with this transfer window is we opened the main presents first (Mac and Dom) and then the stocking filler at the end. All in all it might look like decent business down the line. I'm more concerned with how we are actually trying to play. What is Trent's role exactly?
