He will just get a DVD of their cup final win in 1995 and make them watch it while showing them his tattoo to motivate them.

    Another season without European football.

The cream of Europe will be breathing a huge collective sigh of relief.

Yet another season they will escape a humbling against the might of the unstoppable Everton giants.

Watched a game on Amazon at end of last season with crowd noise but no commentary or so called expert analysis. It was bliss to be able to watch the game with atmosphere but not have to listen to the inane drivel of the commentator and pundit.

This is what I've wanted for a few years, a way to mute the fuckwit commentators/pundits but keep the noise of the stadium.  I can't afford to be buying a new TV every time I hear Tyler's voice.

And they still won't win it.

It's like they have an overwhelming impulse to continually make themselves look stupid.

All caused by jealousy and a massive inferiority complex which I don't ever see changing.

They'll have the occasional success against us and maybe even win a small trophy one day to keep fanning the flames of hope, but they are forever in their red neighbour's shadow.

I get the feeling that this guy might self harm - the level of suppressed rage in this deranged missive indicates that the author isn't operating at a stable mental level. The green ink tone of his literary scream makes me wonder just how heavily football failure features in the triggering of the psychopathic individual. I feel that this guy uses his detestation of Liverpool as a cover for some other trauma in his life - maybe he was abused by a man wearing a red sweater when he was a boy and the correlation of that particular colour with 'bad things' has haunted him.

No matter - it just isn't normal, even by the Ashworth entry level of behaviour set by his blue bretheren. He's probably run out of Pot Noodles, smoked his last last rolly, misspelled 'Nil Satis' on his attempted self inked arm tatoo, damaged his spinal column trying to bite his own knob off and decided it was time he wrote to 'Mosh' ...... about 'the Redshite' .....again.

    That's fucking quality !

I reckon it'd be dangerous to identify him publicly. Just mock him and pity him.

If you could guarantee that it would be no more than a slap then it might be worth it, but we all know it wouldn't stop at that.  The number of loose cannons has risen since Covid reared its ugly head a year or so ago, and there would be a queue for this cunt.

I don't have any doubt that if his ID was spilled he'd take an absolute hammering as an absolute minimum, and others could be inadvertently involved or affected.  I'd shed no tears for the scumbag, but I wouldn't want to see his family getting dragged into something caused by shit he's spouted on a football forum, as inflammatory as it undoubtedly is.

  7. They should (nobody laugh) be applying a dash of common sense to this.  Does being an armpit hair offside 35-40 yards from goal really give the attacking side such a huge advantage that they need to spend 5 minutes doing their Etch a Sketch shit ?  They're making VAR the star of the show when they do that, and it shouldn't be.

Personally I'd sack it off now.  It was meant to be a tool to stop the unfair stuff happening, and if anything it's simply highlighted how utterly inept/corrupt (delete depending on mindset) the officiating in the Premiership is.

Give the cunts a chance to review it 20 times in slow motion and they still get it wrong, all the time stopping the game and killing the moment for the fans.

The problem isn't the technology itself, it's the shower of absolute shite that uses it and until they improve on that it isn't worth a toss, as we've already seen for several seasons now.

They must have seen it as a massive opportunity too.

We were without our 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th choice centre backs, without our captain, and without the Mane, Firmino and Salah of yesteryear.

We then gave them an extra bonus by dropping Thiago to play a half with 10 men.

They took the opportunity, and probably not as well as they could have.

    This.

And the latter COULD just be our saving grace, but we'll need to really turn up at Anfield.

It's still doable, but it's a slippery slope.

Another superfan who can't correlate between support and criticism. I could turn it on its head and put to you that  for a supporter of this great Club your bar is set very low. We exist to win the big prizes. We aint West Ham.

If being a superfan is someone who doesn't slag the owners and/or players when things go wrong then that's what you'll see me as.  I can be as critical as the next man, but I draw the line at hysterical quimmery when things aren't going our way.  That is undoubtedly your bag.

We both want the same thing - success for the club - only one of us doesn't throw a screaming tantrum when it doesn't happen.

A thought occurred to me and I hope there is no truth to it, if there is some truth it would be one for the shitness of modern football. I wonder if there is a contractual obligation for a player to start at least one match in certain competitions as there are financial rewards available for doing so. If this is true, it would make much more sense as Klopp would have had to use this game or the next to facilitate it. It would be interesting to know if he has started in any other champions league matches.

I've read of such things before with other players, it's quite possible.  Without having all the inside info that Klopp and his staff do all we can ever do is guess.  Or listen to rumours (not for me Clive).

It could just be as simple as Keita looked the business in training and sank like a breeze block weighted turd on the big stage.  He wouldn't be the first player to do that, he won't be the last.

But I think he flushed his Liverpool career down the shitter last night all the same.

What has that got to do with anything BTW? Why do people talk such nonsense? We are talking about a football team and venting at their disappointing car crash form.

Have you ever considered that it might be you that's talking nonsense ?

You're writing it off before the second leg has been played.

I get the feeling you don't really grasp the concept of "support", which is what Scott was alluding to.

You're more the "you lost so you're on you own you fucking loser cunts" type.

You don't have an opinion. Your default comment is "Klopp is the manager, he knows best, you're some guy on the internet". Riveting stuff. If that's the case, might as well not comment on any decision ever and not have a forum.

I have plenty of opinions, I just don't air them like I'm some kind of font of knowledge.  I also know when someone knows more than me and how much of a prick I'd look trying to make it look the opposite.

You're free to comment on whatever you like however you like, just as I'm free to comment on that too.

Is this difficult for you ?

Oh, sorry, there I was thinking giving your opinion on that kind of stuff was the point of this forum, instead of having a stick up your ass and criticizing everyone that has an opinion.

Klopp can say and protect Keita all he wants, but he took him off on 42 minutes because he knows he fucked up, and not waiting till half time to do it was making sure to hit Keita with some shrapnel as well. Again, if you can't handle that being pointed out, fuck off.

So everyone is allowed an opinion but yours is the only one that counts ?

    Interesting point of view.

As far as not being able to handle something, I'm not the one irrationally telling people to fuck off for having their opinion questioned.

For what it's worth, I'll re-iterate that I agree with a lot of what you post.  But on this occasion I think you're talking shite, understandably affected by last night's performance and result.

What's next, will you be resorting to personal insults ?
