That youtube clip lasts 4 minutes. I would be interested in how he performed over the 86 odd other minutes in the game before I started clamouring for his inclusion in the squad. But on the other hand, I haven't seen even a 4 minute clip of Stuart Downing from any one game.

i was lucky enough to be at the game in '98 when they won the Scottish Prem for the 1st time in 10 years. The support & atmosphere was incredible, as was the party afterwards (loooong party !). I'll always have a soft spot for the Celts. but it pains me to say that Scottish football is at the moment fucked. If Assaidi can regularly replicate last night's performance, he and Suarez are going to be an absolute fucking nightmare for defenders this season. Suso looks like he could open a tin of peaches with that left foot of his, Sterling's jump to prominence in 3 months is staggering, Wisdom looks the business and Shelvey looks like he's finally off the slip road and picking up pace on the motorway. OK we ain't gonna win the Prem, we'll do well to get top half, but we've got 3 cup competitions for the youngsters to really show how much they want it. And if they want it that bit more than our current 1st teamers, then it's down to BR to reward them with that coveted 1st team berth.
