    It could well be that this was Klopp putting Keita squarely in Last Chance Saloon. Some players respond to that, others don't. It's also worth remembering that what you see both players bringing to the table is not necessarily what Klopp sees, so he's obviously going to make different choices based on what he wants from each player. It's all a moot point anyway, I can't see how Keita resurrects what little there was of his Liverpool career after the amount of time and chances he's had.

    You'd have weight to argue with if you'd won what Klopp has. When it comes down to the nitty gritty he hasn't got his track record by posting on the Internet with the benefit of hindsight. And it's got a lot to do with what's happening in training, that's where players catch the manager's eye by doing what is required of them.

    So how does a manager stop that ? How can a manager predict in advance who's going to suck big time on the day ? Klopp put his faith in Keita and was badly let down, for whatever reason. He then tried to rectify it by replacing Keita much earlier than he normally would have done. For what it's worth I think Keita is done here now, but managers can't stop players having bad games any more than they can prevent them getting injured.

    What's pathetic is the bedwetting and wailing. We lost - tough shit. Man up, stop fucking crying like a bitch and look forward to the replay. Even if you want to curl up, suck your thumb and look for excuses I seriously doubt that Klopp, his staff and the players themselves will. They'll know that performance was well below par.

    I'd put able to remain injury free as more of a requirement than those 2 given our strife this season. Has he already played more consecutive games than Matip this season ? That wouldn't be difficult though. He could well be a cracking long term investment, it'll be interesting to see if he's showing Klopp enough to convince him in training and on the pitch.

    He's one of the reasons Philips and Kabak are starting to make a good pairing. Their lives are so much easier having Fabinho prowling around in front of them, snuffing the majority of danger out. Their own telescopic legged minder, our midfield is literally a different beast with him in it. An absolutely outstanding player. Hopefully we'll get a piledriver of a goal from too before the end of the season, he's due one.

    A fortnight tomorrow since my first AZ hit. The first 48 hours were fucking awful, then left with a lingering tiredness that is slowly disappearing but is still dragging me down tonight. I couldn't raise my arm above chest height for nearly a week and couldn't sleep on that side either. Yet I know folks in their 70s and 80s who had zero side effects after the same injection. And one guy in his late 20s who was fucked for a fortnight, he could barely get out of bed for the first week. Very unpredictable.

    3 years since my original post and I've gone and bought another bunch of spiders, around this time last year. One of them another Goliath that unfortunately died after molting (they're prone to that). My son thinks they're cool, he's taken a great interest in them. I'd always had Staffies as a married man, but it wouldn't be fair on a mutt now with me being at work all day. The spiders are low maintenance and it's funny seeing people's reactions when they see the tanks. I've also had Royal Pythons in the past....... Hopefully my Salmon Pink gets to this size :

    If it goes pear shaped it'll be the opposite way around. Risk losing Van Dijk for another extended period for 90 minutes against a team with an absolute cunt of a player with a proven track record of inflicting physical damage on our players in a CL final ? A lot of folks on here are underestimating the long term effects and proper recovery period of an injury like that. I get the temptation to play him IF we reach the CL final, but would they be willing to write next year's Premiership challenge off before a ball has even been kicked ? Has this season not been cruel enough ?

    One of my favourite ever non Liverpool players. We used to argue on the school playground as to who had the harder shot between him and Jimmy Case. The first 2 goals alone in the clip below are a thing of beauty. And these goals were with the old style ball too. RIP to a Leeds legend.

    Defo got the lethargy thing, even changing the bedclothing was a monumental effort that has just left me knackered. There's not even a mark on my arm where they stuck the needle in funnily enough, and I usually bruise looking at a needle. And I can't tell you how pleased I am to hear about the apparent ease of the 2nd dose, I was already dreading that shit. Having a phobia about needles really didn't help either.

    I had my first innoculation yesterday morning, part 1 of 2. Illness and injury don't usually slow me down too much, but today I am fucked. 3pm and I'm still lying on my bed in my dressing gown, getting hot flushes. I woke up with an absolute cunt of a headache and am just plain knackered. I rolled over on the injection site in my arm during the night and by fuck it was painful. I used to take a lot of punishment on my arms and didn't let it affect me, but I can barely raise my arm this afternoon. Hopefully it doesn't last long, but I'm not looking forward to a repeat performance of this shit.

    One of the very few fighters who could change his name to something like Marvelous and have it deemed suitable. Other fighters get in the ring prepared to fight, guys like Hagler are prepared to go to war. He had all the tools, could box, brawl and had amazing stamina and a huge heart. A relentless stalking machine with one of the most durable jaws I've ever seen in boxing, I still watch the War with Hearns regularly and am still shocked at the utter ferocity of both men in that opening round. I can't think of too many modern era middleweights who could have gone through that. The term legend is definitely used too much, but Hagler is right at the very top in the list of all time greats. RIP Marvelous.

    Says there's only one word for it then gives half a dozen. The word he's looking for is Everton. It's the collective of that half a dozen. One of the few things that brings me solace in this miserable bastard of a season is the fact that they're having as shite a time of it at home as us and it's keeping us within catching distance of them. It's still down to us to get ahead of them though.
