    I hope so. If he's judged by the same standards as Kenny & the Hodge, it'll be a grim outlook for him if the rest of the season follows our current trajectory. If he can't get us defending properly, he's fucked. That's absolutely got to be his priority.

    Can't argue with that. Pretty much sums it up, the onus is on Rodgers to turn it round. But if we haven't improved defensively in his 2 and a bit seasons so far, what's the chances of it happening to the extent where he keeps his job at the end of the season ? We don't even seem to do the basics very well, and that is directly down to coaching.

    Agger was in decline, and injury prone. Add to that he was being bullied by "physical" players. And I'm a big Agger fan. You can't hold BR responsible for that.

    He's too inconsistent, and has probably spent too much time in his comfort zone. If his contract is up at the end of the season then we should let him go and get some competition for Manquillo.

    Not one of those players you have mentioned there has a hand in us conceding goals like a fucking pub team. Going by that logic, if we sign a decent forward we automatically stop conceding stupid goals every game ? You'll wake up with your head in the porridge. We have good defenders, but a shit defensive unit. And that is down to coaching, or lack of it.

    I'd have Benitez back in a heartbeat. Do you think RM would have slapped us about and won 3-0 at a canter at our place ? Would they fuck. Not everyone's cup of tea, but you just know by the end of the season that conceding cuntish goals every game would be a distant memory. If Rodgers seriously cannot organise a defence then he is fucked here anyway, and his going will happen sooner rather than later. Not that I want to see it happen.

    I noticed that too. I think we've improved slightly in the last couple of games defensively, but the difference between the two today was startling. Mourinho is a shithouse and anti football cunt at times, but he can organise a defence.

    It also gives FSG time to do a proper discreet search for a replacement should things not improve drastically. Just so long as they don't leave it to the fucking Transfer Committee.

    Fair point mate. And very true. But when people lose their patience on here, what does it fix ? We can slag the players/staff off all we want, the club will still be in the same position tomorrow. And the day after etc. People can vent all they want, but it changes nothing. Improvement is only going to come one step at a time, losing our 2 front main men (one temporarily) and trying to get new players to bed in was always likely to be a banana skin. Getting another manager or more players in now would just continue the cycle. What I'm trying to infer is that we're stuck with what we've got, and we're going to have to like it or lump it. Or support another team.

    The scouts aren't the ones who sign the players. If the players we bought turn out to be duds then someone else should be carrying the can. We're all going to have to develop some patience, because this isn't going to get sorted overnight. I can understand the negative vibe, especially when you take last season into consideration, but some of you need to get a fucking grip. When the going gets tough and all that.
