Kinell, that doesnt sound good. Think Id be trying to contact the club asap seeing as the next home game is on Saturday.

i've been onto them today for a ticket transfer issue and they're pretty rapid at responding if you get them on the chat option online. They should be able to figure out the problem for you if you get on first thing

A meeting place for Wakefield’s finest political minds. Unsurprisingly it’s not very big.

They do have some very enjoyable live music and poetry evenings though.

It’s called The Red Shed. The demise of Johnson is regularly being discussed here over half a real ale and a packet of pork scratchings.

These have lasted me nearly a year doing pretty high mileage every month - but have more or less died now.

Going to give these a try - just ordered them for £59.99 on a mates recommendation.

Which ASICS are these? I need some new ones and I've just got a year out of mine. The only replacement signal being sole wear so well impressed with them. Mine were asics gel torrance  and Ive ran 10k a week for a year plus walking,

    gym. Great trabs

I can. A couple of mates I grew up with must have heard from someone who heard from someone that the greatest player to kick a ball was coming through the youth ranks, I think they won the U21 league or reserve league so got ahead of themselves.

sounds about right. theres been so many of them that might be the case (See Michael Ball, Franny Jeffers-tho they did get decent returns on those 2)

Spot on mate. I remember Cademarteri was going to be better than Pele and Phil Jevons better than Fowler and Own rolled into one.

The Jelavic stuff was outstanding. Made even better by him scoring the opener against us in the semi final, I had a facebook message off a blue mate that I didn't see until after the game. Saying "told you so" or words to that effect. He had been logged off for "an hour" which would have been about when Suarez equalised.  Just brilliant.

Jevons - i can't remember them going on about him until he scored against us for hull or someone to knock us out the league cup. Cademarteri looked good in that game against our late 90s defence so i think that was enough to write him into everton folklore

Surprised record is this bad there!

Liverpool have been unable to record a win over the east Midlands side in their last 12 visits to the City Ground, a run that dates back 37 years to when Ronnie Whelan and Ian Rush earned a 2-0 result.

Our away record was awful full stop in the 90s. That's when I started going regularly and it took me a while before I saw our first win

Used to do the same, incredibly backward for the time considering the size of the club - just goes to show how inefficiently we were run.

In a sharp juxtaposition to this, I was able to log in to my account on my phone just now and buy my cup final ticket, all done within 3 minutes! (I will add that when buying league tickets I usually have to queue for about 2 hours).

3 mins? whats your secret? i'm still in a 1hr queue

logged on at 8.05 initially but window wasn't open. logged in at 10 past to be put in this queue with 8000 people still ahead of me

I moved city because of S Wales police, they didn't give me much choice but I remember watching TV when these boys got life for murder in utter disbelief,  I grew up with them all ( bar Steven Miller from Brixton) Yousef Abdullah was a friend of mine, he had nineteen people say in written statements he was working and not in Tiget Bay that night. Fucking stitch up , he was a good kid, if he was white he would have walked, thrown out of court. I went back to march on Cardiff prison with Al Sharpton to free people who had been imprisoned for nothing more than being slightly off track and having the wrong colour skin. I still occasionally go down the bay and have a drink with the last two remaining members, John Actie and Tony Parris... and believe me never mind compensation etc, they're fucked,

    No racism here, move along,

theres a good BBC documentary on this i watched a few months ago. The march that you're referring to is shown on there where they go the prison gates. Really grim story....as the best documentaries are

  9. NFC is not the app. if its an android smartphone then its the google pay app, if its an iphone then its apple wallet app. the email from the club should provide further guidance. once you install the relevant app you should be able to open the ticket with it. check it works first but you need to be using this app to get in the ground

    .......if it works

  10. For the Palace game i think we only had about 10k capacity. my Dad didn't have a smartphone so was told to pick up a paper ticket from the ticket office. We were told what time to go in the ground with the NFC passes and i think the window was between 1 hour and 15 mins before KO so that suited me. we went to the office to pick up his ticket and there was a massive spiraling queue accumulating outside for people whose NFC passes weren't working-scanning issues and downloading. The queue wasn't moving particular fast so a few must have missed KO. The pre season friendlies should help them get their act together but i wouldn't take any risks on getting to the ground late for the first few league games next season.

Somewhere like the kemlyn is full of old men so i'd give yourself even more time if sitting there

Anyone know if this friends and family thing means that they have to have a membership?

    thats how i interpretted it

i think they'll need a membership number which are normally from the fan cards

i've emailed the club as one older fan i know doesn't have a smartphone (he doesn't even have a mobile) and they have said they will find an alternative method for entry for these people. looking at our demographic i think there will be few who struggle with apps and downloading files to get in
