  1. My daughter has volunteered on that app. We were both working from home last year when her phone went and it was her very first call on it - excitedly, she put in on speaker phone and answered, only for some Twat to start going on about his cock! She hung up and my missus put a complaint in which resulted in the user being terminated. She has dealt with a few genuine calls since - great idea.
  2. Off work yesterday and went up to West Derby village for a few drinks and something to eat. In a beer garden and a barmaid leads some blind fella out and asks him where he wants to sit - he says nearest the door, which was the table we were on. We said we didnt mind and had a little chat with him. He starts telling us that he is getting a new patio laid and looking forward to getting some new furniture. Cue my missus then asking "have you seen anything you like yet?" Upon immediately realising what she had said and seeing me trying not to laugh, she then quickly carries on to ask "have you been looking online?" I quickly had to change the topic of conversation!
  3. been working from home through lockdown - the missus has benefitted with a lift to and from the Royal right through all this. I normally log on work and get a few emails out the way before she is ready to leave, usually around 7.40. Last night says she wants to nip Lidl on way to get some fresh bakery stuff for her mates. Working on pc and she says she is ready - didnt even register the time. Looks at clock in car as we pull into the Lidl, just gone 7.40 - Lidl doesnt open til 8!!! Sat in car for 20 minutes!
  4. Haha! Isolation when my daughter tested positive.
  5. Today was my 200th consecutive day of running 5km or more, since 18th January. Also took me over 1800km for the year. Well chuffed - if someone had told me two years ago I would be doing this sort of thing I would have just laughed at them. One positive thing to come out of COVID and lockdowns......
  6. Thanks. Only really got into it last year through lockdown, a way to get out of the house as I have been working from home since last March and Croxteth Park is on our doorstep. Become a bit of an obsession now (according to the family!) but feel so much better for it (physically and mentally) - today was day 160 of my current running streak.
  7. Looks the same shade as the trim on the home shirt
  8. Without me trawling back, cant be sure https://www.dhgate.com/store/21440267 added pics, these are a medium
  9. I had the new home and away shirts arrive yesterday - took just over two weeks. Both a good fit and seem a decent quality. Just hope the away shirt ends up being the one that actually gets released!
  10. Chuffed - in this heat - to get home from my lunch run to have Strava tell me I had registered my 10km PB today - 49:25
  11. A matter of mine had a dog and called it Torres. He was fortunate when he left that the dog responded to Suarez. No such luck when he left though…..
  12. I got into running last year at the start of lockdown. I have bought three pairs from sportshoes.com over the past 12 months (and due another pair soon - been dropping hints for fathers day). Can get some decent prices on there and have been quick deliveries. I have had a pair of ASICS Gel Excite 5 and Under Armour Surge 2. Also have a pair of ASICS Gel Sonoma 4 which were waterproof as local park had lots of mud/puddles over winter.
  13. Out Saturday afternoon for some drinks in town. Anyone know any pubs that will show the Brighton game?
  14. Cheers for the heads up. Already had a family account and just ordered my speaker.
  15. Same as Kane's goal from Lovren's touch last season
  16. Yep. Don't know what made me pick it on Terrarium (kids are grown up), just something to kill a bit of time but loved every minute of it.
  17. I had this problem a few weeks ago. Someone had sent me a document to review, she had done it in her Mac (Pages?). I had to log into iCloud on my PC where I could then edit it. Couldn't get it to convert to Office format though.
  18. Got enough to buy her parents a nice holiday though...
  19. Cheers, not far,will give a try.
  20. Saw that the other night on the BBC site and was amused to spot my sister in law on one of the photos!
  21. Cheers. I have Terrarium on my phone and use that with my Chromecast. Didn't realise it could be installed onto the Firestick. Will take a look tonight.
  22. Which add-on is best to use now? Haven't used for a while, daughter has been using it but not finding a lot in Covenant.
