  1. image hosting services I assume the BBC control the input to the Sky EPG. was this really necessary for last nights match description between Spain and Uruguay?
  2. I'm late getting into this, only on level 14. So far, I have 19 donuts - when I visit other Springfields, including some of you on here, I can see loads of items that can only be purchased with donuts. Am I missing something here, or are you spending a small fortune in app and buying more donuts?
  3. Was going into town at the weekend, in a cab with a mate and our wives. Going over the flyover at the back of the museum towards Dale St when the taxi driver points ahead. We can see 2 ambulances and a couple of police cars.. Mate's bird says "Ooh, I wonder if someone has jumped off!?" Even when I asked if that was the case then why would the ambulances be on top of the flyover, it still took a while for the penny to drop.
  4. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22774277 "West Ham have had a £14.5m bid for Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo rejected, according to the Spanish club's president." Wonder if this is genuine or West Ham trying to force Carroll's price down further?
  5. Just sent you a message and then saw this thread! For the benefit of others: Yep, same here. Turn it landscape and it will change on screen. I found when I run XBMC, it still didn't fill full screen. There is an option in there somewhere for a second screen setting. Do you have Netflix? I found if I ran Netflix, that took the full screen. Then switching to XBMC kept the full screen. Saw enough of XBMC to make me invest in a Raspberry Pi and run XBMC from there. Gives you the added benefit of being able to still browse on the iPad, etc
  6. If they aren't prepared to budge then ask her employer if they can recall the salary, might be time to get that reversed and give them an instruction to credit elsewhere.
  7. Yep, that's all you need. I had a few problems though in that the picture didn't fill full screen. The only way I could get round it was to launch Netflix and the switch to XBMC
  8. To be fair, the article doesn't say that it had withheld this from the enquiry. It says unbroadcast, which suggests to me that its not been shown on tv. I would have assumed that this has gone through the panel, seeing as BBC were the only tv covering the actual game.
  9. Coincidence, I finished Breaking Bad today as well! Can't wait for August. I'd agree on Heroes, don't bother, it went right downhill after the first series, introduced far too many characters.
  10. City season ticket holder just texted me, reckons Mancini has gone.
  11. The '88 final was one of the worst days I had following the reds. None of the lads I went the game with got a ticket, so was travelling down on my own. Had already booked my coach when a lad in work said I could travel with him (he was with different coach firm), so ended up travelling on my own but made arrangement to meet me down there. Coach broke down en route, somewhere near Stoke, so we ended up getting to Wembley late, but in time for kick off. However, in days of no mobile phones, I couldn't get message to lad from work so, needless to say, he wasn't in meeting place when I finally got there so ended up going into the ground on my own. Was stood in upper terracing, good view of the game. I remember celebrating Beardsley's goal and then the disappointment of seeing it disallowed. The joy of getting the pen, only for this lad in front to start telling everyone about how he'd had a dream the night before that we got a pen but it was saved. The despair of seeing the pen saved and then the same lad rattling on about how his dream had come true - felt like decking him. Felt like the longest journey home from Wembley, ever. In them days, to do a league and FA cup double was something special. To this day, I feel like kicking the tv screen in whenever I see Laurie fucking Sanchez's face on it.
  12. Love the way the headline and the start of the article refers to top managers and then the article finishes with "while we also hear from Mark Hughes"!
  13. £62 seems quite pricey just for coming preloaded with XBMC. It really is a simple process to install it yourself. My Pi with a case cost about £35. I already had a spare SD card and used a spare blackberry charger for the power supply. You just download a free piece of software to your pc, connect the SD card, and the software installs XBMC to the SD card for you. Bear in mind that, as far as I am aware, there is no jailbreak for ATV 3 and the ATV 2 are inflated prices on eBay due to the fact they can be jail broken.
  14. Coronation Street have today apologised for inadvertently publishing the sex offenders register at the end of last nights episode.....
  15. I always use Sportsdevil. --> Live Sports--> Wiziwig Find the streams for us - Nutjob streams always tend to be English commentary. Got very good quality screen now for the Newcastle game, Fox Soccer.
  16. Listening to radio on way home from work and the sports news on City came on. You know you always hear transfer rumours about the new Messi, the new Zidane, etc, well it was reported tonight that Everton are being linked with some South African kid, dubbed as the new Steven Pienaar!
  17. You would like to think that the local media would get behind him a bit. Not quite. Was appalled at Radio City's headline news this morning, reporting of a kid in Wales being bitten yesterday by a classmate and the kid 'allegedly' saying he was doing a Suarez. One of the most pointless news items I have ever heard, yet it is their main story. The fact they used allegedly makes it even more farcical.
  18. Suarez just tweeted: I've just spoken to Ivanovic on the phone and I could apologise directly to him. Thanks for accepting
