  1. Would take a 1-0 with the winner coming off Colin Wanker's pointy nose. Not sure we can really be talking up a 3-0 or 5-0 win when we haven't won a home game out of the last four. Maybe 2-1. Maxi, Suarez and Helguson.
  2. Indeed. He is handing out face slaps too on the back of topping a group containing Genk with a squad which probably cost more than the other three teams combined. Cretin. Hopefully City crush them on Monday.
  3. Dunno about you but I am most certainly thankful a reserve team can turn in a performance like last night's.
  4. Just thought it would be interesting seen as everyone is raving about how strong the squad is, who should we thank for that? No harm meant to anyone or any party.
  5. Just to clarify, I love Kenny and this is all his work and he can have the job as long as he wants as far as I'm concerned. I am merely talking about the depth of the squad.
  6. I think we all agree our squad is looking excellent at the moment, as strong in terms of our first 18 as it's been in ages. No more Degens or El Zhars when we're 2-0 down in Middlesborough. Who should we thank? Rafa, Kenny, Mr. Henry or the youth developers? I think we shouldn't overlook Rafa in this. After all, he bought Agger, Reina, Skrtel, Johnson, Lucas, Maxi, Kuyt, and effectively Suarez and Carroll with his calculated gamble on Torres and hence £30m of profit.
  7. Totally disagree. He had so much time and space and such a large margin of error with where to play the pass, I would have been extremely disappointed had he not found Bellers. Not to say I don't like the lad.
  8. Apparently last night as Leeds fans chanted Gary Speed's name, the Forest fans responded in kind. All very nice you may say, until this happened. The Leeds fans proceeded to chant "Brian Clough is a wanker". When you thought you couldn't go any lower...
  9. Yes, four out of four. Even old Gwanddad Woy got one over them.
  10. He was clearly a giant of a man amongst an industry of fraudulent and useless bell-ends. RIP Gary. From what I knew, you seemed like a great, great guy. I also pass on my sincere condolences to your family. Irish Red
  11. While we're not exactly banging in the goals this year, does anyone else see a positive out of the fact that we have 9 different scorers in the league so far this year (I think anyway)? While I know we are heaviliy dependant on Suarez, I see this as a positive. As far as I can remember Dirk or Downing haven't scored yet either, which surely can't be too far away.
  12. Ok, fair enough, I've been told!! Maybe I just should have titled it...Man City...not yet as bad as their neighbours?
  13. Anyone else feel this way? Apart from their bottomless pit of cash (which isn't really their fault) and Mancini's mild arrogance, I struggle to think of too many reasons to hate them. Even their fans are ok. All said, I can definitely see us beating them at the weekend.
  14. Another hum dinger Dave. Did I hear a Luis Garcia rendition yesterday?! Away fans were boss, as always.
  15. If you contrast the two post-match interviews it is very insightful. Kenny is like, don't mention where we are in the table, don't ask me about top 4, I want to just bask in this win and enjoy it for what it is. AVB is out with the calculator, we need x points from our next y games to keep pace with the leaders etc. Power nerd. He also appears to be heavy on the PR, positive attitude too. He kept referencing the 4 competitions they are in. I mean FFS!! 12 points behind in league, still not qualified from a piss poor CL group, FA Cup not even started and Carling Cup still at a reasonably early stage (by Chelsea standards anyway). He must think he can pull the wool over Abramovich's eyes very easily!!
  16. Seriously, this guy needs to wake up and smell the coffee!! He has been utter garbage so far, he is presiding over a team of mediocre rubbish but yet feels the need to make a massive declaration that...the league will be difficult to win now. Oh no fuckhead, really!! About as difficult as it will be for us to win it. He always tries to excuse the crap by the fact that he is trying to get his team to play attacking football. Well, you know so far, all I've seen is rubbish. That Mata is dirt, not worth a fraction of what was paid for him. He clearly cannot organise his defence and has a big problem on his hands with what to do with the ageing and deteriorating "Lamps" and "JT". He could undo his apparently strong reputation with this latest project. He also needs some hair gel and a razor big time, the ginger cunt.
  17. For me, these would have to be Fulham’s. I’ve always thought they were a placid bunch, a complete contrast if you like from the right-wing, racist scum that wave plastic flags down the road at “The Bridge” (just for you Dave U). This view on Fulham was confirmed at the weekend when Donkey Kong proceeds to do his little Welsh Samba dance right in front of their noses after scoring and not so much as one of them, shouted, gestured at or abused him. Almost too perfect for today’s image of a football fan. Anyone agree/have a different view?
  18. Long is definitely out for both matches last I heard. Which means a possible front two of Robbie Keane and everyone's favourite BlueNose, yes you guessed it, Jonathan Walters. I am not particularly fond of his angry face but will have to come round to him gradually, if only for these two matches.
  19. moof - i reckon it will be 1-17. they will get a consolation in injury time, it will bounce off villas boas ridiculously dry hair and straight over pepe's head and out of pure sympathy for the arrogant little mourinho wannabe twat it will be allowed to stand.
