  2. if you set up a gmail account i.e. yourname@gmail.com you can use google sites to build a website and you get a free co.uk domain name
  3. you can pick up a decent clip microphone on ebay for less than a tenner. make sure you have enough cable, a small extension lead might be an idea too

  7. Adobe Audition has a brilliant hiss remover not so sure about the newer versions
  8. Scart cable between a vhs and dvd recorder should do the trick. if you want to edit them rip vob files using virtual dub then use a video editing program like premiere elements to edit and export to dvd or whatever platform you want to put them on hth Dave PM me for tutorials if you want
  9. Final Cut Studio all the way for me This site has some good stuff if you can ignore the sales techniques. it doesn't matter much anyway if you're not in the states but they have some good hints and tips for guerilla film making checkout videomaker.com
  10. Premiere has an elements package which you can get with Photoshop elements for about £70 FCP/FCE are the ones i'd go with if you have a mac, Premiere if you are on Windows. its also an idea to have a think about what you're going to film with(cameras/lighting). Nothing worse than trying to make shit footage look good. Be prepared to do some test shooting, making a recce if its an external shoot at the same time and day you may be shooting. i made a film once in a kids playground and when we got there the North west model boat society were having a grand prix on the boating lake next door!!! we managed to persuade them to give us two hours to get all our dialogue stuff done, nightmare shoot!
