  1. i was corgi registered for ages, didn't like getting my hands dirty thou
  2. when all is said and done - and i am a fan (i used to watch Valencia under him when living in Spain) whenever i watched Liverpool under Rafa i always had the feeling we would win - i don't feel that way at the moment to be sure.
  3. someone posts an opinion, someone disagree's, some personal attacks, flames, tears etc etc another perfectly good thread destroyed by some rather silly children. oh and why's SL having ago a danperkins? i thought they were the same person suffering from quadrophenia (assuming his other egos are a cat and a meme from WOW)
  4. Whilst Henderson might not be good enough for Liverpool he's far from a cunt, there is only one cunt in this thread and its you, fucking twats and the internet.
  5. Most people seem to forget that you are interviewing the company and the people as much as they are interviewing you. Ask about what your day job will actually involve and what they want from they person they are looking for, if you can get in early with these questions you can tailor your answers better. One question I had recently was "are you a strategic thinker or a someone who actions on situations" silly question really as they had just spent 15mins explaining why they wanted a strategic thinker! I do like to challenge the person interviewing, I'm not sure I'd recommend that approach for everyone but if they want someone who's not afraid to call it how they see it - it can be a good approach. I've had some classic interviews, one for a comparison website and I swear the guy was on drugs one minute he was jumping up and down with enthusiasm the next he was close to tears, came out feeling like I had been violated... The worst I've had recently is for a multinational who had an assessment day, I didn't want to go but a guy I know was working there and convinced me, a whole day of playing "the apprentice" type games and learning little about the company, the only good bits were giving the interviewers some stick. Practice makes perfect and the more interviews you do the easier it gets, I tend to set myself up an interview every 3-6 months for that reason, either that or I'm slightly deranged. Everyone gets a knock back now and then, if you didn't get it don't over analyse it, but take away the questions you got asked and think about how you could answer different, but if the original answer felt right stick with it at the next one. Good luck anyone who's got one coming up..
  6. I've never had the privilege of a private jet but every time I've been on small planes it scares the crap out of me due to all the bumping around, flying is not on my list of favorite things and being tossed around like a salad in a big tin can gives me grey hairs.
  7. I've flown the 380 a few times business class from London to Dubai and once first class. Its the best business/first class I've flown, the weirdest thing with the 380 is that is feels really slow to take off and feels like it shouldn't actually be flying! I work a lot in Vietnam and Indonesia and normally fly business with Qatar airways (when I started going the qatar flights were shorter than the emirates) unfortunately Qatar don't have any 380s yet but its still a very good service. In terms of upgrades its unusual to be upgraded from economy to business even as a frequent flyer and gold card member (when I pay for the trip myself I fly economy which fortunately is rare) but I've been bumped from business to first a number of times now. The difference? You get a cubical type arrangement and eat off china (got forbid I have to eat off porcelain)! When flying business and working its all about the seat, as you are basically flying 17 hours I try to sleep as much as I can and most qatar business have a full flatbed seat which lies down 180 degrees, so first or business doesn't make a lot of difference. Nice thing about emirates is if you fly business they pick you up from home to the airport in a executive car. I've flown business with BA a few times too but find the stewards snotty!
  8. tastes like burnt logs sliding down your throat ! a bit too smoky for me, one of my favourites and cheep is Tamnavulin
  9. Suarez needs to pick the ball up in space so he can run at people and cause panic, that's what he's best at, i would play him on the left or right of a front 3 where he can find the space and drive into the box and then lay it off/play 1-2's, or go for gold himself. I'm really surprised where hes been played this year, hes not the feeding off scraps kind of player. I'm hoping to see Dirk flanked by Bellamy/Suarez tomorrow.
  10. I would say that Prince2 is well worth going for, even if you are not looking to go into project management its a handy feather to have in your cap. It gives you a good grounding in using project management processes, and a quick scan of jobs "prince 2" will show that employers here in the UK like it, the one area I find Prince2 weak on is the soft skills required for PM and I find PMP stronger in this area. If you enjoy the course and want to look into PM roles you are right that the qualification alone won't get you the job as they will want experience, however during you normal working day you can start to use the processes and treat tasks as projects and once you fall into this routine and can start to demonstrate that you are then managing projects. I suspect that once your employer has paid for the course then they would want to use that knowledge anyways and start building your experience. Good luck, I've been a senior PM for 15 years now and can honestly say I really enjoy my job, however its not for everyone but worth dipping your toe into to see if its something you would enjoy.
