  1. They really do need to start backing Pep properly. Neville is up in arms at the lack of funding on the other side of Manchester.
  2. I'm waiting for them to start arguing for trickle down economics yet again. The trouble is that they've ensured that wealth is so confined to the super rich that even wealthy people won't be tricked down to. I don't of anyone who wants tax cuts at the moment.
  3. Personally they are paid so much, they should be driving risking their lives. They're all pretty obnoxious. I'd be all up for them driving 1970's six wheelers at the Nurburgring.
  4. Just to send a relatively small number of immigrants to a questionable African regime with a terrible human rights record at huge expense to the tax payer. They're utterly obsessed with their right wing wish list. Two major wars ongoing, NHS in crisis, social care on it's knees, cost of living crisis, zero growth economy but no it's all about their small boats policy. This will be the end of them, if it wasn't already. Just to appease a small percentage of the population.
  5. She's just putting the boot in as she's desperate to be seen as the new leader of the ultra right wing Tories after the impending GE defeat. What I don't get is that parties that move to only pander to their extreme core vote never win elections. The Tories are now squabbling with Reform over the same constituency of voters. 25-30% of the electorate at most.
  6. We have to pay for those pre-election bribes sorry tax cuts somehow.
  7. Which England are they referring to? A pre-1940's white only England that never really existed?
  8. We're just trying to accommodate a defender who can't actually defend because once in a while he can play a killer pass from midfield. Is that really worth corrupting our whole shape? Time for us move on from Nunez and get some value out of him whilst we still can. We can't spend £65 million rising to £85 million on a striker whose basic game is fundamentally flawed. He intrinsically cannot score open goals. Let's not spend our time doubling down on our mistakes. We'll be waiting years for the finished article that won't ever come good. It's like waiting year after year for Keita to develop into a productive and reliable midfielder.
  9. Amazingly bad transfer, you've had three seasons of how useless Havertz is and yet he's still a £60 million player. I can only assume this is Arteta's arrogance showing?
  10. Newcastle under Howe are one of biggest shithouse anti-footballing sides in the league. They'll easily use up the time with their shithousing time wasting tactics.
  11. He managed to convince millions that he's just an affable toff and he was on their side.
  12. Considering they are largely dependent upon the elderly to keep them in power, that does seem to be a rather flawed attitude.
  13. I'm loving the fact that after getting his 350k a week contract and becoming their joint highest paid player, Rashford has now put his feet up again and clearly can't be arsed.
  14. True but he was never coming here, he'd decided on Madrid ages ago. Shame.
  15. Agreed if there's one season where they should take the 12 points then this is it. They'd be at more risk if they took a suspended 6 points and they were applied next season.
  16. It's the entitled bit with them that always gets me. No need to arrest me dear boy as I'm a Tory MP and my word is my honour. They've arrested you precisely because they suspect a crime has been committed and want to interview you under caution.
  17. This is a uniquely corrupt, criminal and sexually deviant governing party we've ever witnessed. It's easier for us to estimate who isn't a perv. Yet they still bang on about morality at every opportunity.
  18. I don't understand why these decisions take so long? Is it really that complex in Everton's case? They've attempted to push through £430 million worth of losses over 4 years on their books. The bulk of that is excess spending beyond the £105 million over three years limit. Their only argument appears to be that they've declared the bulk of the loss during Covid (over 3 times of any other club) as an offset against a potential fire sale of the squad that Covid was preventing them from doing. They haven't offered any evidence of potential transfer dealings that were lost during Covid and haven't sold the squad off post Covid.
  19. If Heysel hadn't happened they would have gone on a glorious run of European cup triumphs. Arsenal and the mancs would never have been a thing as English football would have been dominated by Everton right through to the present day.
  20. True, no mention of the recent offside fiasco either.
  21. Barely a word from the commentators. We can imagine the reaction if an Italian had done that.
  22. Decent result under the circumstances, that being we were poor, defensively we're awful. I'd take a top 4 finish now, we're way off a title challenge.
  23. Agreed, Everton are unflushable, it's all on their FFP hearing. A 6 point deduction would sink them.
