Happy to swap Gnabry for Gomez if you want him, skids.

    Nathaniel Phillips

I would not be surprised if Klopp was happy to keep him here. I think he'd expect the intensity of our training to keep him sharp enough to step in if needed. I think he's more likely to want to move, after getting a run of games and showing he's good enough its probably his big chance to move with the expectation to step right into a side at a good level, with a good wage. If he finds the right club he'll have a really good career ahead of him. If he disappears back into the reserves who knows?

Haha, it was regarding the draft order, but I felt the deal we came to was well balanced so didn't want to be a dick pushing my luck for the sake of it.

I didn't even ask for my 'sweetener' in the Sir Roger deal. Even after checking it was within the rules. Also, @Skidfingers McGonical, the five year age gap thing applies to the draft (and other free transfers post-draft), not transfers.

    Hughes, Nicol.

    Thiago Alcantara

No, our record was still pretty good when Henderson was in the middle. He's the one we shouldn't have moved (and we wouldn't have had to if we'd lined up a replacement early in the window).

    Top 10 Football Books

Don't read many football books, but enjoyed these: A must-read, this.

Cancelo still a very good player, but clearly a very bad fit for my side. On the block.

@Bruce Spanner Is the other Emerson in my ressies? Also, does the mini-draft count against the number of trades?

The person doing the editing should have removed some of the shadow to hide the fact that she's hovering her right leg to avoid her leg from being subject to the laws of physics.

2010, not sure if it's been used again since. Can't remember ever seeing it.

Transgender stuff - what's going on?

It's a matter of mental health, due to the comorbidity with many mental illnesses (exacerbated when individuals are not able to find an identity they are comfortable with) but is not considered a mental illness itself. "Gender dysphoria is not a mental illness" - Overview - Gender dysphoria - NHS (www.nhs.uk) I guess it's considered more akin to autism in that it's an innate aspect of the individual, not a disorder. There may be studies that show a cause and effect relationship sometime in the future, but for now that seems reasonable to me.

    Other football - 2020/21

You're right (although not been to Newcastle), Fulham is a good one. Enjoy Brighton more though, good pubs in town beforehand, short hop on the train, great atmosphere at the ground, hop back and a good night out in town.

I seriously hope not, the number of loans they have is totally taking the piss.

Nah, it's okay. Will wait and see what the plan holds. Actually, wouldn't mind seeing Ronaldo's form for the second half of the season. Not seen his name much.

Transgender stuff - what's going on?

Nah, it's not that so much, but the idea that there's a book from a credible source that cites several published studies makes me intrigued BECAUSE I want to know about that information (hence me asking what book). People like to talk about all this data (this is a real issue I have with both sides of the argument), but research to date is sparse and larger datasets only really relate to crime and sexual health at the moment (in the UK). So... I clicked once on that wiki and found that the other issue this guy hangs his hat on is being anti same-sex marriage. So, for me, that potential credibility is already pretty shot down. I'm willing to listen to a lot of people I disagree with, but the US religious right is not very high on that list. I'd still be interested in seeing these citations at some point, but I'm not about to hunt them down now. I'm full of steak, a little sunburnt, we won 3-0, and I still have half a bottle of wine waiting in the kitchen.
