It isn't just one man owning us. New England Sporting Ventures as a group is owning us and they are worth $1.2 b. Add to that the personal wealth of the contributors of the group and we should have nothing to worrry about. This isn't about us getting a new sugardaddy and splashing the cash. It's about stability at the club and being able to see our profits being invested into the team. As for the stadium, no owner, be is Sheik Mo or Abramovic would pay $400 million outright for a new stadium. It would be financed by a low interest short term loan + naming rights. Look at Arsenal and how they did it. If their reputation is anything to go buy, we have got ourselves some good new owners. I'm not saying that would shouldn't be cautious, but we should at least give them a chance before writing them off, just because they're Americans.

But the fact we already have so much competition in the central midfield area, signing him worries me somewhat. I guess if Lucas does go down injured, we will actually have no one that can play DM, unless you count Spearing.. Either way, i do get this feeling that we are really going to miss Masch when he's gone.
