Arniepie you are totally missing the point here. He had two pivotal moments today, the chance which he smashed straight at the keeper and the cross when the goalie hesitated and he didn't square it to Mo but over hit to to Diaz at the back post. Yes Salah was bad, yes the two huge moments where bad, but what else did he offer?

He's our most expensive forward. How many intelligent runs into the channels did he make? How many times did he drop deep for a pass and move into space? How many times did he win his Ariel duals with their CBs? He excels at nothing. Missed chances can be forgiven if he gets the basics right, but he can't even do that. His touch is terrible. I watched him closely today (I'm a ST holder) I don't even think he knows where to stand half of the time. He simply isn't good enough.

Think he's definitely lost something for me. 

I don't think our fan base truly understand what we lost in Mane and Firmino both offensively and defensively when they left. And it shows in the output of Salah and the two who replaced them.

The penny has finally dropped.

Darwin Nunez is shite.

He's a proper player Jota, surprised some people on here question him, not sure what they watch. He's a menace.

My first three matches were Spartak Moscow, Bolton Wanderers and Bristol City in the cups.. Beaten in all three. Explicitly remember John Barnes being racially abused most of one of those games, can still picture the guys face behind us.

Aquliani was horrific. We recouped large sums for both Benteke and Andy Carroll as far as I can remember. None of those three missed as much football as Thiago or Keita as they all got shipped out on loan or sold sharpish. And they would have been on much lower wages.

Isn't Thiago on 275k a week? That's 14m per year. Times 4 seasons , £56m. Played 100 games for us so that's half a million an appearance, many of which he would have be subbed. And that's ignoring his transfer fee and any signing on bonus. Crazy really.

On an output per million arguably two of our worst ever signings.

Any idea the total contract costs and transfer fees for both?

Despite playing on the left he really doesn't fancy his left foot. Ortega was stuck to the spot for the 1 on 1  and Walker was to the right of him. Could have easily rounded the goalie in that situation. Thought he was excellent, just lacked that killer instinct yesterday. 

Shame he didn't get on today, could of changed the game

Think he's under appreciated in some quarters here. Brilliant player. He takes risks most other players won't and he's justly rewarded. 

Can't think of many players who'd score that goal against Chelsea the other week, when he wormed his way past the two defenders in close proximity. Great in the air as well!

What was Diaz doing for the Nunez chance in the second half by the way? Gets totally in the way and neither of them take the shot on. Opened up for Nunez to take it on his left foot.
