  1. I feel i may be blinded by loyalty. But listening to the media over the last 24hrs, it has been claimed that we sing / chant about the Munich disaster as frequent as Man Utd do about us and our sad days. I can honestly say that, in all my time at Anfield (and i am now 36) i have never once heard the munich chant. I have heard it in pubs and in the street when people are pissed up and i have seen a couple of internet 'evidence' videos. However, i have heard Man utd sing anti Liverpool songs at so many of there games that don't even involve us, and often wondered what Wayne must be thinking. I have also worked in Manchester and had the same vitriol at face value. Really want to know, are we just as bad? and if so why have the media never picked up on this? Finally, why is it that until this week, there has never been any mention of the vile chants about Hillsbourough by Manchester Utd fans? and why, when ever it is mentioned, all of a sudden, it is our fault due to Munich chants. I must add, that reading posts on Red Cafe, it is clear that there are many fans who are decent and respectful. I just feel that the media campaign against us is not over yet.
  2. I think a lot of people should have a lot more respect for Rafa Benitez and what he did for Liverpool. He gave me the best 2 nights of my life with the champs league win and the parade. He then helped us dream of greatness with other great cup runs and the highest league position we have had for a long time. He did a lot behind the scenes and fell in love with the team, the city and the fans, he became one of us. He did this during the worst owners in our history. He put the club and fans before his career by standing up to the owners, the football estblishent, the media, Mr Ferguson etc. Despite his early success he was not allowed to bring in the players he wanted and we needed. Finally, when he was pushed out, he went with his head held high and a heavy heart and within months the owners were gone. I am still 100% behind Kenny, but part of me believes Rafa would of stopped the decline and restored glory this season. YNWA.

  4. And you cry to yourself, due to the fact you fancy boys and you are a boy too, but you don(')t want to be a homogay, well not today...You want to like the girls, the girls who dance in Modos, but you like the boys, the negretos, who dance break style...
  5. Since when do Scousers give a shit about correct English..You Tory Suvaner
  6. Unfortunately for you and our eyes, you know very little about football.
  7. I know what the problem is, the problem is the beak, the beak is now cheap nasty stuff that makes the boys talk quietly amongst themselves and mong around moan and want to get off to get more. Not like the good old-fashioned chatty beak from years gone by. Even the bevvie don't pick you up on the shit stuff.
  8. Discuss, any truth in the claims of racial abuse or is Evra playing the race card. Anyone got any info?
  9. Having the King back is an amazing thing, but i have been pondering a thought. What would of happened and where would we be if the new owners came in at the end of 2009/2010 season? -Would they of sacked Rafa, or would they of cared about him as we did and supported him? -Would Mascarano, being told by Rafa of good times ahead, of stayed and had his best season yet in a Liverpool Shirt? -Would Nando still be our beloved number nine, never walks alone with us -Who would Rafa of brought in at the end of last season and would that of got us to Champions League? - Who would he of brought in this year? Some may neg artman, i think most will also sit and ponder on this thought as i did... Ultimately, like a majority of threads, it is just passing time..... YNWA RAFA Long Live The King
  10. That bloke took a picture while at the game supporting the team, travelling there and back on a sunday. You were on your sofa at home watching on tv and typing on internet. He comes out the 'better' fan in this one.(6)
  11. Bury, Greater Manchester - 9 miles from centre. He is a Manc.
  12. Reading a couple of threads had me thinking, although getting Keane back now is not the answer i do believe that if we had kept both Keane and Crouch on the books in 2008/2009 we would of won the league and our fortunes would of taken a different route entirely.
  13. Now were getting new owners, we need to all buy the shirt to raise money for players!
