  1. I just wonder how much Arsenal are benefiting by actually being in the Champions League, compared to us who are limited to playing league games at the moment. A lot is said about players being tired following champions League away games, but Arsenal seem to be benefiting by playing more competitive games. They looked a lot sharper yesterday, while we looked sluggish. You could be mistaken for thinking we were the team who is playing in 3 different competitions. We seemed to be lacking match sharpness yesterday. We might actually be suffering by not playing enough competitive games.
  2. Quality mate. Here here and kudos to you.
  3. Kev, I said this after their shit house display after the game at Anfield. There is no fucking way that parents and family of the 96 should have to sit through their disgusting chants. It is a duty of the club to ban the horrible bastards from Anfield indefinitely. It's not like it's the minority singing that bile either. There was a large majority of them singing their shit again yesterday. Men in their 40's accompanied by kids singing it. They must be really proud of their Dad's. Fucking scum every one of them. I just don't think we make enough of it. Banning them would bring the publicity that it deserves. If it was the other way around we would have been hung, drawn and quartered for it.
  4. Everyone's on about Allen. We hardly missed Lucas when he went off.
  5. Lessons to be learned from that. Play to our strengths and their weaknesses. Not the other way around
  6. Lukaku anyone? He was unplayable today. Good on the ground, good in the air. He knows where the goals are. He's a right Fuckin handful for defenders too.
  7. Bollocks! The latest stick to hit Luis with is that photo of some kid trying to get his autograph as he arrives at Mansfield. It's already gone viral and attracting comments from all kinds of fucktards up and down the country. I have no doubt that Luis spent time signing autographs for kids yesterday, but some opportunistic prick decided to catch this particular shot and posted it on our own website. The first time I saw it was on Twitter yesterday and it was on our own fucking Web page. They can carry all they like because the beauty of this is that all this vilification actually galvanized Luis and has helped make him an even better player this season.
  8. Brilliant! That demented old bar steward is finally exhibiting signs of serious mental deterioration. For the third time in as many weeks we can sit back and watch the horrible arl bastard while he goes into meltdown and makes a drunken embarrassment of himself. Maybe he should take on board the old saying; 'People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones'.
  9. Going off the Sturridge point for a minute. My lad was listening to Paradise by Coldplay the other night, and all of a sudden he bellowed out: Carra Carra Carradise Carra Carra Carradise Oohhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  10. I'm more concerned at our lack of goals coming from midfield. Everyone is rightly banging on about our lack of strikers, but the truth is, we just aren't scoring goals from midfield anymore and we haven't done since Gerrard and Xabi were at their pomp. Granted, Raheem ciuld have bagged half a dozen goals by now and you would expect to see a big improvement come with maturity when it comes to his finishing. Apart from that, Gerrard hasn't been anywhere near as clinical this season. Allen is looking more like a poor man's Jamie Redknackers, Sahin has been piss poor and Hendo's strength certainly isn't converting goal scoring chances. Lucss has been injured, but yet again, what support heoffers our back 4 is to the detriment of our offensive thrust. Just a handful if goals in 4 seasons simply isn't good enough for a player who is essentially a midfielder. We have had this defence first mentality in midfield for too long. And whereas there are games where we need to set up like this, we also need a more dynamic player in the centre of midfield who can add his weight to our final third.
  11. Vladi, I'm gunna put my neck on the line here lad and go for The Rasunda, Stockholm. I'm sure that's in Sweden you know. Feel free to ask me any other questions which you get stuck on :-)
  12. We don't particularly hate you, although I do question why you feel compelled to come on to our forums to boast a victory against Liverpool's most depleted team in decades. In fact we aren't bothered about SCFC. You aren't significant. And if you are any younger than 40, you won't even remember your tin pot club ever lifting a major domestic trophy. Therein lies the problem I suspect. Such a shitty club claiming the scalp of one of the world's biggest club is like taking the beggar to the feast I guess.
  13. Rob, all well and good. Wimbledon used to be our bogey team and look where they are now. You know, another club which championed the knuckle dragging anti-football alehouse footballer. Funny thing is, you are only a couple of injuries away from being relegation material. There is no doubt that Shawcross and Huth are the most formidable pairing in the prem at the moment. And you could say that Begovic is arguably the best performing keeper in the prem too. But you are massively dependant on them. So much so that if either Shawcross or/and Huth get injured you'll be royally fooked. Another Wimbledon. And you lot will be relegated to the same shitty division which you recently crawled out of. Simples.:monkeywink:
