This opponent is among the worst you’ll see defensively, and we should have punished them and been out of sight at the break. As shit as they are defensively they’re also capable of scoring more than one against any opponent, so there is a high risk we’ll be punished if we dont score a couple more. Thought Diaz, Nunez and not least Mac Allister played well. Szoboszlai has made a couple of howlers, and Endo struggled at the start. Salah with one genius pass and a couple of other good moments, but has been very wasteful. He seems to need a high number of chances to score these days.

Agree. The kind of shit that should be a 10 match ban if the opponent isn’t injured, and if the opponent is injured he should be banned for the length of the absence. This is a deliberate attempt to cause a serious injury to another player.

As far as I could see from the replay it was a horrible shithouse challenge. Similar to the Pickford one on Van Dijk. Think Konate was very lucky to escape. It may have been accidental though, the replay was very brief and the whole situation was over in the glimpse of a second. Anyway not surprised that VAR didnt bother to check it. Absolutely nothing will surprise me from the officials.

That may well be the case. But I think their poor structure and tactics also mean they actually have to run more compared to a team with better organization.

Sorry, I just can not see a single reason why they should try harder against us. Must be because they feel they can get something then, and if they did thayt’s because we didnt perform. All teams in the PL are at an extemely high footballing level, even Sheffield United, if the best teams drop off their normal level they have a chance. United gave up against us in the 0-7 defeat, do you reckon they try less against us than other teams?

Sorry mate, but that’s simply rubbish. We were at pure walking pace for most of the game tonight, A League Two team could have kept up with us at this pace and intensity. We have only ourselves to blame that this became difficult.
