  1. Stats never tell the full story, and the rest of the team definately plays a part in those figures. But loosing possession 27 times is just shocking, and no circumstances can provide an excuse for that. Clearly not ready for this level.
  2. They did target that side, and for a reason. Also some of Matips passes to him being extremely slow didnt help. The ball travelling at walking pace makes it a lot easier for the opposition to close you down.
  3. Anyway I guess it was only fitting that a short Argentine number 10 was man of the match at Anfield on this day. Rest in piece Diego, you crazy genious.
  4. This was a slightly weaker team on paper probably, but the main difference is clearly the total lack of intensity in our play today. Intensity is our identity Klopp says, and Leicester never had the chance to breathe against us, while today it’s been totally missing.
  5. Was always a risk that was gonna happen, as we seem to be playing in energy saving mode. Lack of pressing and intensity the main reason for that goal. Now we need to switch on, which isn’t necessarily going to be easy.
  6. Only Rhys Williams in the back 5 seems to be willing to put any sort of pace on the ball. When most of your passes are walking speed you’re gonna put your team mate in trouble.
  7. With a different manager for quite a while now, so who knows?
  8. Mould of Fabinho? So little football knowledge he could probably do a job in the VAR room.
  9. Another great performance from him. And another game where I noticed after 85+ minutes he’s still doing 40 yard sprints to press the opponent, to close some space or to move the ball up field. Monster of a player.
  10. And very appropriate that we kept a clean sheet, Ray would’ve been proud of that performance.
  11. That was one impressive performance. Extremely impressive. Gutted for Naby who was playing so well, and delighted for Bobby who had a very good game and got the goal it deserved. Get in Reds!!!
  12. Fuck that. Can’t stay fit can he. Was playing well today, but just can’t be relied upon.
  13. Excellent half that, and desevedly two up. Most of the players have been very good, but Jones and Keita have been the pleasant surprises as I feared we’d be too soft in midfield with those two. Not so far, Jones has won it back in a couple of vital situations, and Keita has been everywhere, always available to receive and looking for combinations.
  14. Agree, midfield is the main worry. As Klopp says every time we play them, the best way to stop Vardy is cutting off the supply. And that is gonna be a challenge with Keita and Jones in there I fear.
  15. How did you work that out? Does it mean Van Dijk is the same? Very similar situations that caused their injuries.
  16. You can celebrate anything if you’re a United supporter. If the opposition score, celebrate, VAR will cancel it. If the opposition get a penalty, no worries. If you miss a penalty, celebrate the second chance you’ll get. Still the fuckers can barely win a game.
  17. This struck me as well. Would it be any more obvious if Ole was refereeing himself?
  18. Hahahs, how in the fuck is this even remotely possible!!! Slur Alex David FergCooeteson.
  19. Different set of rules for and against Man United. Absolutely unbelievable. They have had 5-10 penalties excactly like that one given for them the last year. But not if you’re West Brom, not against Man United and not with David Coote in charge. They would have to get Donald Trump in to make it more ridiculous than this.
  20. Agree. Surprisingly enough he got that one right.
