  1. I bought Superclub for my lad for christmas.

Its absolutely brilliant and we often play on a saturday afternoon. It encompasses full off seasons of deadline days; training; scouting etc with Full on drafts for teams Stadium upgrades etc.

Also has a bit of luck with dice rolls etc too which puts a different spin on the tactical side as there is always a bit of luck involved too. Can buy add on packs for the game too but would highly recommend.

  2. Breaky from the hotel this morning.

    Sausages were very good

beans in a pot which is good. No juice touching anything and can leave them no issues

    mushrooms tasty and never enough.
    hash brown crispy enough

    bacon- usual oily hotel type

    bread- sourdough nonsense

Egg runny on top cooked further down the yolk.
    tomato- not cooked; just hot

Yeah thats what i was getting at as some reason for it

But he has kind of looked defeated to me, from the little i have watched at them. Maybe just seeing your best players sold each year has soured things a bit. He is obviously a good coach, if thats enough to walk into a dressing room like ours is another thing.

    that's the nail there.

there's something missing for me to connect as a fan.

I had no idea who the other guy was from

sporting but a lot of people did. But I didn't have the same feelings about him as I did de zerbi

I think that’s harsh mate. The way Klopp and Guardiola talk about De Zerbi, he’s obviously an excellent coach.

Nobody here can criticise the quality of Brighton’s football, they play some great stuff.

My main concern on De Zerbi is he seems overly confrontational. I don’t get the impression he’d support the players the way Klopp does.

the way I see it; I felt kinda this way when we signed Robertson.

not good enough bracket. Not LFC elite.
I do understand but I feel now we have something here. It's the star of a project for sure that needs tweaking but it's good.

and I don't see that he is an improvement and I don't mean on Klopp because you're never going to be better than Klopp in that regard but I mean an improvement on LFC. He doesn't seem a fit for us.

I really hope I'm proved wrong

Read an interview from Walton Goggins(Shane) when he said he reckons Mora knew what he was doing and they had an off screen conversation about their family meeting.

It would be entirely in keeping with everything we know about their weirdly loyal, unhealthy relationship.

Dont disagree with this. That episode was really hard.

Stayed out of this thread for years as I have been meaning to watch the show and didn't want spoilers.

Started watching a couple of months back and finished the last three episodes last night. Wow.

I echo what most have said about the pace of the episodes makes it addictive viewing. Also, yes some of the acting is not great from some second level characters (Corrine) and third level (Cassidy) but it makes up for it with Walton Goggins, who i already loved watching in Justified, but also liked the Dutch and Claudette relationship throughout the series.

Will I watch it again? Probably at some point, might give it a year or two though.

I am going to rewatch The Wire next though.

Corrine is Ryan (writers) wife and is also in S.W.A.T another of his creations.

Cassidy is Vics real life daughter.

The more I watch The Shiled, the more I think this guy is one of the most - if not the most - complex, conflicted and fascinating characters in the history of television. A combination of the writing and constantly top-class acting by Goggins makes him a dramatic tour de force.

Because of the depth and the nuanced touches I find it easy to try and imagine his backstory. He treats Vic like a father figure and hides behind his badge which makes me think he was probably bullied by his dad when he was a kid. I reckon he saw his mother or other members of his family abused by his dad which is why he's so obsessed with the idea of his own family being 'perfect', of having his wife and kid just the way he imagines them. He needs Vic to protect him and isn't the same person when he's not around, and also hides behind his roll as a cop.

As Goggins said in an interview (season 5 onward spoiler)

Warning! The following content is NOT WORK SAFE. Click the Show button to reveal.

The reason he kills Lem is because he thinks he's going to rat them out if he goes to prison, because he knows that's what HE would do if he was in the same boat, because in Goggins' words 'Shane is a coward'.

The Lem scene is the most heartbreaking thing ever. You can see the anguish is Shanes face and when he turns around to face Lem after the act and for both to know what he did is emotional beyond belief.

But every bad thing that happened to that team ultimately was a mistake from Shane being Rash and as you have said; not being as clever as Vic and thinking ahead.

For me Shane is what Ziggy in Season 2 of The Wire could have been.

I felt sorry for Shane in the end, he was caught between keeping his family together and making Vic take notice. When he met his wife, it was never going to be the same again. Both being stubborn fucks dealt with it in the wrong way, even though Shane tried his best to rectify it.

I'll never forgive Vic for what he did to Ronnie though

Do you blame Shane more for Lem or Vic more for Ronnie? Thats an interesting question.

Never seen The Shield, I assume he plays a shit in that as well?

    OH MY!!!!!!!!

I am jealous of anyone who has never seen this and gets to watch it for the first time. I have watched it 4 times now and it is just as emotionally charged as the first viewing.

    Incredible series.

    Gary O’Neil:

    •Early in his career

    •Hasn’t won anything

    •Did well with smaller clubs

    •Progressive style of football.
Some of these are good things. All of these are things we got with Rodgers. Please don’t say you want Gary O’Neil in one sentence, and then bemoan someone who had a very similar profile and CV when he arrived a decade or so ago.

The fuck are you going on about??

I said I dont want Ange fucking whatever his name. The only reason why Stig is banging on about him is because of his record in SCOTLAND where Rodgers is. If that was the criteria we would have Rodgers back.

Here’s the post in question - paraphrasing as “Hitler has a point” and the Jews must be guilty of something to be persecuted for hundreds of years.

It is ironic that had Riley waited a day she could have used the same tweet.

    Thanks Rico.

Yeah this stinks and is a Racist comment.

Maybe we should just stop killing people- Period?

Here’s a simple debating trick. Substitute Jews for black people in that post and see if you are still so relaxed about it and if not why ?

“I think it's probably about time the narrative was changed.

Hundreds of years have been spent wondering why black people are always the victims of just about anything and everything, probably time to start asking why”

I was relaxed as I explained above I didnt see the context and was replying to another post.

  10. Unless I am mistaken;

The post was to goad Rico; alluding that he is "Right Wing" and for him to come out and show support for Hitler in some way.

Members of the forum who are defending RR are doing a "look theres a monkey behind you" to deflect from their racism defending and finger point in another direction despite that post being both a woeful attempt at calling out racism and being incredibly distasteful and disrespectful.

If thats all to it then no I wont call it out its just stupidity at best.

If I have been mistaken and someone can let me know that it was a racist post and I have missed the point I will re-evaluate.

Still, good to see you're silent on the "Did Hitler have a point?" stuff. Solidarity, brother.

Edit: don't bother responding, I'm only here to deal with some PMs, if you feel like you have to say something, kindly direct it to the nearest brick wall, I'm sure you'll have plenty in common

Where is the comment regarding did Hitler have a point?
