I don't mind where they've gone with it, its more how they've done it that's the problem. It's all too rushed and pretty much every criticism of the show can go back to this overarching point. The Dany stuff makes sense, but the pacing was way off and it didn't feel natural. Similar with Jaime's arc. With more time, I'm sure it would have turned out a lot better. The writers just don't give a fuck and want shot of it, which is shame. They have written some really good original content in the past (Tywin/Arya, Brienne/Hound come to mind) so it's not as if they are not capable. It's clear as day that they mentally checked out a while back and are more focused on Star wars now.

The episode had all the tropes of a standard Hollywood flick, nothing wrong with these in other films/TV etc given the right context, but this is a show that built its reputation on subverting those tropes, not embracing them. I wouldn't mind so much if it was actually done well, but it was painfully dumb and the show has, for the last few seasons, been constantly hamstrung by being in awe of the fandom it's created, sacrificing any interesting storytelling for cheap Hollywood moments to satisfy these morons. Maybe they'll pull something out of the hat and wrap this up well, but give how things have played out so far, they don't seem remotely capable of it. They will probably fall back on some lazy, anti-climatic finale and everyone goes home 'happy'.

It definitely has the whiff of the walking dead about it these days. The weird, cult like following of characters on social media etc no matter how stupid, dull they appear to be. The ridiculous plot armor that surrounds all the major characters. It just seems like watered down, mindless, fan service to satisfy the gimps on twitter etc. The writers did a great job with the source material, but just hasn't been the same since it left the books behind.

Just watched it, first impressions is that it was completely underwhelming for the most part. The plot armor reminded me of the the walking dead (not a good thing), and the dragon stuff was absurd from start to finish, along with Arya's ridiculous deus ex machina moment at the end. The first 20 minutes were decent, but apart from that feel like it was pretty shit.

Andrew Yang is that guy based on what I've seen. Once he gets a platform in a debate, I have a feeling he will gain some serious traction. He is the only one out of the existing candidates with any chance of beating Trump.

The party is well and truly over for now. Any moron could have made money in that November - January bull run. I actually find the whole thing very interesting regardless, so will be sticking it out until the end. More pain to come I'd imagine.

I follow him on twitter and he’s one of the most rampant sociopaths on there. Really comes across immensely dislikable at times. He’s wrote some decent stuff in the past, but has a very thin skin for twitter.

Yeah I don’t doubt that the space will grow over time, but at what rate is anyone’s guess at this point and is not worth trying to predict. It’s one of the few coins that’s seems to have made it into the mainstream with casual investors who buy in and cash out on a whim, not exactly conducive to a good HODL’ing strategy. Being an institutional coin doesn’t exactly feel me with any confidence either, they will only look to exploit it for their own gains. Who knows. I’ll be steering clear, if what you say is true then 30x will be small time compared to some of the other coins out there. This past month has been a real reality check, so I remain skeptical.

A vast amount of XRP is owned by the devs that could dump on everyone at any given moment, how is that remotely safe? 30x seems complete fantasy that’s around a trillion dollars, the market cap at this moment is what, around $275 billion for the entire crypto space. Even 10x is optimistic at best. That’s not to say that there is no money to be made in this, but simply HODL’ing is dangerous, especially if you got in this year. You’d be better off trading it if you know what you are doing. The charts show its pump and dump tendencies.

I'm eying up more STRAT & MTL, as well as getting in on Dragonchain & AST. I'm still thinking its going to drop to about $7K, might go in then with a bit money.

I steer well clear of tether, about as scammy as it gets, we're talking bitconnect levels. Neo dev con this week, stocked up on some DBC in the hope of a decent bounce off the back of it, NEO and TNC should also do well.

Nice bounce back but still well in the red atm. I may go back into TRX before the coin burn in March, but can’t really do much about it now. Hoping STRAT can start doing the business for me and piggyback on the success of NEO. I’ve still got some KNC that I might get rid of once it recovers in price, also have some WABI lying about. Nearly put in £1k overall, don’t really want to be pumping anymore in, hoping to reinvest profits if I ever actually make any.

Of course TRX bounces massively when I sell it

I'm about £400 down now, about 65% of my portfolio gone. At least you're still up. I really should have cashed in on TRX at 0.22, was very dumb in hindsight. Live and learn I guess. Going to come back for more regardless once the dust settles, certainly no point in selling now.
