Im still sore at Gerrard for coming on in the match against Man Utd and getting sent off right away, after which the wheels fell off that season.

To be fair despite his abysmal first touch and the ease with which he was getting turned, he can whip in a good cross and did on several occasions, often from an awkward position his first touch had put him into...
A fine crosser of the ball if nothing else.

Ryan GiggsThe bigger they are, the better they are.
I once saw Ryan Giggs in HMV in Manchester Market Street. Looking through the Ryan Giggs calendar. I kid you not. 70114usa

Links to pressers rewarded with genuine afterlife redeemable karma.

That one tackle where he sprinted back to make a two footed lunging block in our penalty box summed it up.
He was boss all game though he did show his limitation in passing and his tendency to get caught in possession once or twice. That's part of the package, and at the moment, its a great overall package.

Pay for membership you tight fuck
Daves reports crack me up. I'd pay double
I did for many years, cant really justify it anymore...
Wasnt it common for the roman emperors to throw big public feasts and parades after great victories, humiliating their vanquished enemies? Show us a conqueror's generosity, Dave.

Really wins almost every knockdown doesnt he... and composure and talent to boot. Could be a highly effective player in the right system.

Can't wait to read daves smug report on Monday
Officially calling on Dave U to celebrate this occasion with a publicly available match report. Come on Dave. We all deserve to share in your tectonic gloatgasm.

I'm in the same boat, looking forward to it. Funny though, I was never interested in watched any of Brendans.
In retrospect, all those comparisons to David Brent were pretty spot on..

My stream cut out before Klopps presser anyone got a link?

Oh my. The mourniho press conference. Can it get any better?

Nothings quite as fun as a coutinho goal though. He doesnt score normal ones. Probably why he doesnt score so often...

And like that, we're in it again. Benteke on, Milner off.
Love your confidence. He can cross to himself.

There are some absolute shithouse posts in this thread. The quality of posters on this website has fallen through the floor.YepFF is worse
This is pretty much what the MF is like most of the time.

Mignolet/Jones
Can
Toure
Sakho
Albert Tom
Gerrard
Allen
Johnson
Lallana
Borini
Coutinho
Got to manage the squad when the fixtures are coming thick and fast.
If Jones is fit, then it's a toss of a coin between the two barely-competent keepers.
Toure for Skrtel is a forced change. Can and Sakho deserve another run out.
Johnson offers more of an attacking threat than Manquillo.
Gerrard can't (and shouldn't) be kept out for long - and he shouldn't be allowed to play alongside Lucas, so Allen (if fit) or Henderson should provide the energy in midfield.
Lallana and Coutinho were both hitting top form against Swansea, so more of that, please. Sterling was also very good, but we can't run him into the ground and I think this is a game we can afford to bench him. Besides, Borini is champing at the bit and he might do some damage against a poo team like Leicester.
What the hell

I'm not convinced by Can in the back three. The goal would have been avoided with a defender there instead of Can flailing out of position. Other teams will notice and target him soon. I'm not sure what he's best at, really. But i don't think it will be as a ball playing CB or DM. Emre Can, what are you?
Strongly disagree. In the 3-4-3 we often see our CBs have the most time on the ball and looking to pass the ball forward into midfield. When Kolo Toure has time on the ball and looks to pass it forward into the midfield bad things happen. That link between defence and midfield is key and having a genuine ball player in defence is a very good idea. I think putting Can back there is a great move.

Indian Roller (Coracias benghalensis)
At 1.3 meters average altitude this fast flying and undoubtedly very fit bird evades all but the most modern radar installations. Though there are rumors of Israeli antimissile systems successfully tracking Coracias Benghalensis these are unconfirmed and probably invented by the Iranians in a grotesque attempt at radar satire (not to be confused with radio satire which is outlawed in Iran because radios are outlawed in Iran). Expect a statement from President Putin before lunch, Kamchatka time. He considers himself an expert on fit birds and radar systems and has notified his aides to notify him immediately when anything is said on the subject so he can add his 2 rubles (significantly less than 2 cents).

Rafas teeth and Kennys and Roys all failed during their time here and became more and more coffee stained as they laboured, make what you will of this.
Enlighten us o prophet of teeth

I'm amazed they only gave him 1 on the basis the FA usually goes to town on us. I do wonder what the ban would be if he was scoring for fun.
Isnt the formula (number of goals scored for LFC in premier league that season)/2 + 1?
Proof that girls don't care if you can't get it up and stink of piss all day, as long as you're filthy rich.
Only white girls though.

There's no money ball potential though. That's his main point. But we'll be selling Lazar in 3 years for £75m. Guaranteed.
And will we buy 3 more Lovrens with it? If so Im excited!

The thing about Lovren Lallana and Markovic is, Rodgers has really fucked up FSGs shit Moneyball wise. And to a certain extent Balotelli.
I suppose its vaguely possible that Markovic will deliver on the "investment", but cant see any upside in the other 2.
Its signings like that, that will do for Rodgers if anything.
He needs to be VERY careful in the window, if indeed he's given anything.
Lallana is a good buy ya poopyhead

Bradley was very sloppy. Criminal really. Someone ought to pluck out his eyebrows.
Oh wait.

Good avatars, this thread.

Tell you what, that tap-in from Aspas was a superb goal. Sold the defender down the river with that movement/fake run.
Or in the words of Michael Owen, "Sent him for pies"
Gerrard to return?

LA is a fucking cesspool. The last place on earth Id live. Trust me I tried it for 6 months.
The place is built for cars, not people. And its full of fake consumerist wannabe stars. And swedish musicians making english pop hits. Its horrible.
