  1. One of the shittest things on nights out over the last 10 to 15 years has been the amount of times a mate has ended up spending the whole night texting or phoning their mrs and flaking off early or just slunk around in a mood on the night. The clinginess that mobile phones create is definitely a major negative.

    Other football - 2020/21

Fred is a bit unlucky there, but should have gone ages ago.

    Other football - 2020/21

Yeah he did go down easy, but it is a red card. Its the incontinency that even in VAR times.

No he didn't, from the BBC; YELLOW CARD Man Utd 0-1 PSG I can't believe that. Fred has only been booked after a VAR review. I've seen dozens of players sent off for that. PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is furious as he does a headbutt motion to an official.

Fred has headbutted a player and only been yellow carded! Unbelievable!

Hopefully Leipzig get the job done and either United or PSG go out next week.

RBL have thrown it away. I've seen Upamecano three times this season and he's been pretty awful in every game. Edit. Just as I was typing Leipzig get a 92nd minute goal!

    Caoimhin Kelleher

Baffled by any suggestion that Adrian should come back in? Adrian can play against the Danes next Wednesday, Kelleher is clearly a more natural replacement for Alisson.

    Wolves (H) - Premier League - 6/12/20 - 19:15

If we rest him this Sunday he won't play until the following Sunday. We can afford to rest the entire first team next Wednesday and a few players v Fulham.

    Wolves (H) - Premier League - 6/12/20 - 19:15

If Trent is fit I can see him coming back in. Wolves will be a lot tougher than Ajax.

    Caoimhin Kelleher

Interesting fact; Caoimhin Kelleher is a goalkeeper who plays for Premier League side Liverpool and the Republic of Ireland at international level. He was born on November 23, 1998 in Cork, a city in the south of Ireland and came through the ranks of his local team Ringmahon Rangers. Interestingly, he began his playing days for Ringmahon as a striker before making the transition to goalkeeper at the age of 14 after the team's original net-minder quit.

I'm going to name my first born son after him in honour of his performance tonight.

Staggering how many injuries we've had!

    Alisson Becker

    Yeah Paul Joyce has said the same;

    Alisson Becker

Adrian needs moving on because he's so error prone. With backup goalkeepers you should swap them every 12 months to 2 years, as it will be a fresh start for the team and defence. Think back to the start of last season, most people felt better about Adrian deputising for Alisson purely because he wasn't Mignolet or Karius. Now Adrian is in the same position as those two. A new goalkeeper coming in wouldn't have made a major mistake for us so benefits entirely for this reason, even if they aren't actually as good as the previous backup. Every year we should be looking for somebody like a Tom Heaton or David Marshall, somebody that would help fill the home grown quota and would be happy having a year as backup on a decent salary.

    Coronavirus

The government have actually hired a company that know what they are doing to help with the vaccine!?
  21. Its a deliberate strategy though, its not like we got mid way through the last year of the players contract without realising. The idea is we only let players leave on our terms or at the end of their contract. By doing this it means that clubs can't dick us about the way they used to on transfer fees. Its because of this we've got £15 million for Ibe, £19 million for Solanke, £12 mllion for Ward etc.

    Scottish Independence, yay or nay?

My gut feeling is that is that the SNP have used independence to grow their party and vote share, but in reality they would struggle with the consequences that it would actually bring. It was the same with the EU membership though. If Remain had won 52% to 48% Farage and the like would still be pushing for a second referendum at the earliest opportunity. Referendums are just bad ideas. They divide families, they waste money and spread lies and misinformation. Simply asking a yes, no question to the general public over a complex set of ideas and systems that the majority won't fully understand is madness!

    Scottish Independence, yay or nay?

Yeah it would have been interesting if the two referendums were the opposite way round. One of the pro union arguments was that if Scotland became independent they wouldn't be able to remain in the EU. That worked out well for them! My Mrs is a Scot and their family are very divided over it. The Scots have had two referendums and three elections since 2014. I don't understand how they aren't just sick to the back teeth of the whole thing?
