  1. Some potentially good news at least- https://www.theguardian.com/society/2020/sep/17/falling-flu-rates-in-southern-hemisphere-offers-hope-as-winter-approaches-coronavirus
  2. Big time- https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/sep/17/england-test-and-trace-public-sector-boris-johnson-covid
  3. The paper's from 2018. https://royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rsif.2018.0296 Is this a universally accepted model? If not, why would it apply to Covid-19? And how does it fit in with the various social distancing restrictions governments enacted? Do we have a study that correlates that, along with the more than 6+ months worth of data that we've accumulated? If not, that snacks more of a random Tweet and you saying 'Science' in lieu of anything actually scientific.
  4. Fortunately, they've now made online ordering from supermarkets more expensive. That'll help. Email from Morrison's.
  5. Jesus fucking Christ. Our sacrifices bought them a few months to get sorted after they completely fucked up the original response, and they've managed to fuck this up beyond belief within weeks. These cunts should hang, along with whatever bellend came up with the idea that Covid couldn't spread within schools. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/sep/16/up-to-25000-teachers-in-england-self-isolating-due-to-covid-fears
  6. To be fair, 'Lou and Angie's Authentic Brit Caff' does its best, plus there's a Happy Hour between 1 pm and midnight.
  7. Obviously no one could ever have foreseen that testing would need to be expanded once schools returned...
  8. Equally, saying Sweden has done better than the UK isn't the gotcha you think it is. The UK's approach has been an utter disaster, with the worst of all possible outcomes. As for economic performance, last I saw Sweden had dropped a couple of percentage points of GDP less than the EU average. Big whoop, especially as it's forecast to be about the same as its immediate neighbours over the year.
  9. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1113834/cumulative-coronavirus-deaths-in-the-nordics/ Sweden has had 579 deaths per 1m population, the UK has had 613.
  10. Is there actually someone called that? I just made it up...
  11. https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2020/sep/15/star-of-bethlehem-spaceship-tom-delonges-new-career-ufo-expert-blink-182 I suppose it stops him making any more shite music.
  12. I'd still be writing out lines now if I'd written this gibberish in class- Slowly walking down the hall, Faster than a cannonball.
  13. His initial comment that Diversity were just doing it for 'fame', aren't they quite a big act, doing arena tours and the like? Certainly more so than that raddled old prick.
  14. I didn't realise he was still with them- 8 league games in 3 seasons for them, and none since January 2018. Stunning coup.
  15. Imported US culture wars. It seems wearing a mask for a few minutes inside a shop is the first step to a totalitarian state interfering in every part of your life. Sending in border force guards without any identifying insignia to snatch protesters off the street into black vans is just defending freedom, of course.
  16. I'm not totally convinced Pablo_Escoblue_1878 and AntonioHibbert off GOT are real to be honest.
  17. Lincoln it is- they beat Bradford 5-0 away, so it'll be a tough run out for our under-12s.
  18. Yeah, I looked at one on there, the seller sends you a link to the ROMs, although they're easily available elsewhere anyway.
  19. Is it legal? From what I can make out, it's a board with joysticks built in, probably running some fork of MAME and you have to download the ROMs yourself.
  20. That headline would be better if they missed the last word off.
