Robbo fucking won't. He needs launching off the Pier Head for playing tonight the fucking idiot.
Same logic not apply to VVD playing full game tonight again after full game a few days ago in meaningless matches

But they were shit in this game, that's the point. None of this "form book goes out of the window". It has done in the past, for both sides. We've won games we had no right to based on the league table, but we did it by raising our game.
That's not what happened here. They were shite and were really easy to play against. Not winning that game is all about us, nothing to do with anything they did.
They didn’t rope a dope us and score once or twice.
They scored fucking four!! And Kelleher made a couple of saves first half they could have had more than that.
fucking four!!!!Not going to lie I’m dreading the league match against them now I thought we’d win comfortably at the weekend.
Never ever again am i underestimating those pricks.

Good report.
One of the things that annoys the fuck out of me when watching it yesterday is how much they tried & the effort they put in against us which they don't do when they play their local "rivals" City.
-
Can’t believe that actually happened yesterday

The lack of just wanting to run & press was doing my head in watching him. As soon as he came on it was like he’d been playing the whole match & had no energy

Shot ourselves in the foot, Gakpo is an empty shirt out there
Not really thought he was one of the Mancs best players

Gakpo! That’s just dreadful- take him off our Danns in

Ref is such a homer.
Ref made a big call not giving away a foul on Joe for our second goal 9times out of 10 Refs just automatically blow for a foul there even though he did win the ball

Watched the Arsenal match last night & Inter one now - one takeaway is how the Refs in both games are allowing tackles go & let the game flow so much more than the premier league Refs.

The Spurs matches could end up being very important.
We have them at Home - both City & Arsenal have to go there.
Spurs in recent years have gotten results against City & they'll certainly want to fuck Arsenals season up if they can.

They had more points this time last season.
I'd be very confident they'll finish the season with more points this season than last - even if City beat them at the end of March they wont fall off a cliff like they did last year imo.

This is the same Arsenal who have spectacularly bottled 3 seasons running with aways at City, Brighton, Tottenham, Wolves and United. There’s absolutely no fucking chance they win out.
The difference is they've got more steel to them this season. Rice imo has made a huge difference they don't seem to fold like previously they are bang in this title race.

So many impressive performances today.
Gomez, Endo, Elliott ran his bollox off second half. Virgil but Mac Allister was incredible all the way through

MacAllister needed to be stronger there. It was obvious that he was being managed out of the way to make space for another runner. It was a decent set piece, unfortunately. Anyway, we need to learn from it and move on.
Nunez also let Stones run away from him too easily

Feels like a huge 3 points.
Shame on me but I’d given up hope in the 97th minute…
It makes it mean so much more seeing other teams & pundits fuming over our win .
I can only imagine how Pep took that while watching it the big weird prick.

He's the closest thing I've seen to Gerrard when he's moved into midfield during matches he has all the same attributes aggression / skill.

I was really worried about Kelleher going into the game today but he was really good

A handsome genius to boot.

We need energy on the pitch - all the players look so lethargic.
Robbo & Nunez at HT
gravenberch & Gakpo half been poxy

Where the fuck does Trent go though? Mac was a fucking beast , Dom was brilliant as was Jones . Tough call this
Ahead of Dom for me - Trents range of passing is off the scale from a central position even the cameo he was on last night he played a super ball through for Nunez - but its about options & isn't it brilliant we have so many options available to choose from now - this must me be the strongest squad of players we've had in my lifetime.
To be in a position where we can argue about a generational talent like Trent who any other side in world football would take in a heartbeat about where does he fit in the side now... Rich people problems...
