He should have never played for us again when Klopp hooked him after 42mins against Madrid. He’s certainly not the player we thought we were getting - box to box dynamic midfielder wearing Gerrards No.8 shirt. Seen a stat earlier on twitter saying he’s got 7 goals and 5 assists in all his time here. And as for his cult following that’s another bonus when he gets fucked off they can go support whatever side he joins.

Seems like a mad situation instead of having full focus on the pre season and getting ready to start the league they've allowed a 37 year old player who's past his best to turn the pre season into a circus. This is the first game of pre season I’ve sat down to watch. the kid Carvalho looks absolutely brilliant. Elliott as well was so sharp & direct. Both of these lads will be pushing to get decent minutes in the league this year.
