Jonjo is a real talent and a great replacement for Stevie if/when he needs a break. Goal versus Chelsea proved his quality last season. Not sure what the craic is in this youtube vid though.

As far as I'm concerned Carragher has always been the weakest centre back of a partnership bar Pellegrino (hence why he was shipped out to left back and right back). He has no finesse when comparing him to the likes of agger and hyypia as he simply cannot pass. The only decent attribute is that he is commanding. Put him in the Stoke team and you would really see how awful he is!

in reply to magic sponge: He's just stating a fact. I would prefer to see a young player like Coates on the bench rather than Carra, who I appreciate has been reasonable in times gone by, but is now looking way past his sell-by-date and on 90k a week! No thanks.

Anyone who thinks carra has been good this season needs their head tested. He wouldn't get in the stoke team! Like jay.

Sorry if this has been mentioned and it in no way condones Luis Suarez's actions but; If you are the home team and are welcoming an away team to your ground then you should walk down the opposing team shaking their hands. When we played United we had to walk down through their team hence giving the responsilibilty to Luis Suarez of shaking Patrice Evra's hand. Am I correct re this?

Chelsea fan I spoke to last summer said that he was now passed it due to his severe lack of pace and him being a one trick pony. Chelsea obviously knew they were flogging a dead horse and we took the bait - one of the worst signing in last 20 years. Lets just hope we can get him off the wage bill with Harry thinking he will be a good replacement for Modric (though I may be in dreamland thinking that) and find a decent Premierleague proven player in his place.

Chester Football Club Currently top of the league and crowd average around 2,500 which is fantastic. All credit to the supporters who have founded the new club and put a lot of their own time to get the club where it is. I have been to about a dozen matches this season and the standard is decent. Anyone living in the Chester area should get down to the Deva - Skem away next weekend - top of the table clash!

The hype about Spurs and Harry is totally ridiculous. Personally I think he is a shit manager - he ruined Southampton & Portsmouth and has spent somewhere near 100m at Spurs! Milan 3 nil win I hope. And he is a tax dodger and bung extraordinaire.

No he is just not good enough and any person who regularly watches him will say that. He has been quite frankly useless this season and last but somehow he remains a constant in the team - it is totally beyond me how he always gets picked whether its for Holland or Liverpool. No techique, no pace, no first touch (his second one is always a tackle) and he slows our rhthym and play down massively. God knows why we didn't sell a few years back when we were offered over 10m by Hamburg I believe. I cannot wait til next August when hopefully we have a front 3 of A Young, Carroll and Suarez.
