I thought it was the correct decision on the basis that some people arent capable of understanding the severity of the situation on words alone. In 2023, its easy enough to obtain flags for anywhere/anything, legal or otherwise.

And given some of the shoulder chewing fighting on Facebook between those representing both sides, the hatred that exists over the other boils over to the point they wish each other dead.
