Nothing else matters. Tonight was the highlight of the tournament for me.
Agree. They might as well call off the tournament. Nothing is topping this off.

This is glorious! Couldn't have written a better scenario if I tried!

Jamal Lewis was my pick as back-up for Robbo, so would be made up with that.

Seriously? I think Artetas doing really well
He's definitely done well. Bar their front-three and their keeper(s), this is the shittest Arsenal squad for a good while.

Chelsea have always not been averse to being overly physical, but that was a joke sending off. If anything, Xhakas foot came down on Kovacic. Isn’t there any VAR in this game??
VAR can't take off yellows. Can only upgrade a yellow to a red.

That is some shocking referee. Neither foul worthy of a yellow. At least, it happened to Chelsea.

Dortmund winning this final comfortably so far.
Sokratis to come on and bag the winner.- 1

Please no. Sure, the lad is pacey but he couldn't cross his legs. Would be a very expensive Mark Gonzalez.

Unlike Werner, I don't think Klopp or the club was ever as interested in Havertz as some fans would have liked us to be. Not that bothered either personally. While obviously a talented young footballer, I think he has also been well over-hyped, not too dissimilar to Joao Felix. His numbers often look better than his performances. For 80m, I would like a game-changer a la VVD or Alisson, don't think Havertz is that. Still an improvement on Barkley and Mount though.

That was thoroughly enjoyable. Just needed that first goal to get us going again. The counter-pressing was unreal.

No idea why we still persist with the Origi outwide and Mane upfront experiment. Trent was truly shocking, enjoyed the balls on Fab taking that free-kick away from him at the end.

Minamino's not playing that wide. Henderson has basically been the winger.
Yes, when in possession. But, he's still the outwide option on transitions. The problem is he's dropping in the same zone as Bobby rather than taking the space opened up by Bobby.
-
Minamino is no winger. We need a pacey alternative to Mo and Sadio. Far too predictable otherwise.
Keita is looking fantastic.

Nice.....please tell me that preening twat missed for Juventus
Nope, but he again chose to be the fifth penalty taker, only for the Napoli taker before him to seal the shoot-out. Love to see it.

Slight aside, but remember when football commentary was largely just naming the players who'd touched the ball and marking/summarising significant events you were seeing, such as a goal being scored?
Why would Martin fucking Tyler think he needs to keep explaining Coronavirus and how the players need to socially distance from each other to everyone?
We've all lived it for 3 months, you ludicrous dangleberry. Shut the fuck up for a few seconds every once in a while, you're not supposed to be just articulating your own inner monologue.
Good word that.

Very likely to be a case of the owners just being bed-shitting tight cunts. The change of tune regarding our summer plans from the likes of Maddock since the outbreak was already pretty alarming. That just seems to confirm it. If we are refusing to meet Werner's release clause, I wouldn't expect any signings above 30m this summer. Frankly underwhelming.
-
It will obviously only be postponed initially, but even if extended to the summer, the season will probably have to finish before the 30th of June. Players and staff contracts typically on that date, so it will be problematic to extend it beyond that.

With the right measures in place, I reckon the derby could still go ahead.

Looking inevitable that this is going to be taken away from us.

It will be suspended, not cancelled yet. We'll just have to wait and see what the situation is like in a few weeks/months. Even if it has to be abandoned, we may (should) still be awarded the title, which is exactly what happened in Chile last season, which is the closest we have to go on at the moment. Bundesliga also seemingly talking about keeping the current table but no relegated teams, just a league expansion next season like Chile (although unlikely to award a champion title as they don't have a clear leader). This is still a plausible scenario. I'm as pessimist as they come, but no reason to commit seppuku just yet.
-
It's getting suspended in the morning.
They still better give us that freaking title whichever way this plays out.

L’Equipe is now saying that UEFA are set to propose on Tuesday postponing the Euros until next year and suspending the CL and EL, so that they - along with domestic competitions - can be completed in the summer.
Sounds almost too sensical
