  1. Hoever has a shitload to learn positioning-wise..
  2. Didn't expect much from us going into the summer, so I was mainly hoping for some underwhelming signings from the club's around us. Sadly, Ndombele, Rodri and Wan Bissaka are cracking signings, no point in denying it. Cunts.
  3. Well, Stevie would be my all-time favourite but not sure he really had a kryptonite as such. Maybe Henry, given his tendency to backpass assist him.
  4. Shame about Brandt but think he always preferred staying in Germany. Sancho will probably be off after next season, so pretty smart planning from Dortmund as usual. Hope the Pepe soundbites are true, even though I haven't seen anything myself. He's never hidden he's a huge Chelsea fan though, probably because of Drogba.
  5. Bit lukewarm about the link but Fraser is much much faster than Shaqiri. It's not even close.
  6. Liverpool could generate up to £100m in sales this summer as Klopp makes transfer decisions on Grujic (£20m), Wilson (£20m), Clyne (£15m) , Mignolet (£12m), Camacho (£10m) , Kent (£12m) , Awoniyi (£10m) , Ojo and Ejaria- James Pearce In other news... So unless any unforeseen circumstances arise to change that, it will be a low-key, conservative window at Anfield. One, maximum two signings - and for fees unlikely to surpass, for instance, the £13m Liverpool spent on Xherdan Shaqiri last summer. With Alberto Moreno on his way out and Nathaniel Clyne likely to go too, full-back cover - especially on the left - is needed. But not necessarily specialist cover, rather a flexible full-back - somebody who can grow into the role or operate in various positions. It's a similar situation in attack, with Daniel Sturridge set to depart but unlikely to be replaced like-for-like. Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of 19-year-old Rhian Brewster and therefore does not plan to recruit a back-up 'number nine'. Instead, the Reds could sign a versatile attacker, allowing Klopp to shuffle the pack as and when he sees fit. Divock Origi is expected to stay, regardless of whether or not he signs a new deal. - David Ornstein
  7. Brandt is the most likely in my opinion, especially if Leverkusen fails to make the CL. Can play as winger, attacking midfield and central midfield, plus reported fee is an absolute bargain. Would love Pepe as well, but with the rumours about Origi getting a new contract and Brewster's promotion, that looks less likely now.
  8. This Champions League season has been just too crazy to even start reasoning about how this final may play out.
  9. Yep, that's why I'm hoping Bayern get there before them. Barca will also be interested at some point. There's a clear Pep influence in their style of play.
  10. Completely agree. Still my main two picks for the summer. Pepe can cover any of the front positions, and Brandt is equally comfortable on the wings and in central midfield. Perfect fits for our fluid style of play.
  11. I know several of their players have been getting the praise (and rightly so), but ten Hag is their biggest asset. He's the next big thing manager-wise. Hope Bayern nicks him as I could see City eyeing as a potential Pep replacement.
  12. Damn, even Mourinho comes across as likeable tonight. https://streamable.com/uv81j
  13. Shaqiri's lack of match sharpness really showing. Ran himself into the ground after 15 mins, and a total liability since. Not sure if Origi will last either. Gini on could help at some point, but not much else off the bench. Good effort so far, but gonna need a herculean effort to find another two. Feels like we've spent twice the energy they have.
  14. They will only keep hitting that 95-100 points tally with Pep in charge. Even with their riches, there are hardly any managers that can do that on a regular basis. His dominant style of play is perfectly suited to league football. Mourinho had to set an all-time points tally record to beat him to a La Liga title. Just got to hope Klopp sticks with us for some years after Pep fucks off, and I'm confident we will get there eventually. Plus, this one is not completely over yet.

  16. Fred and Pereira are doing their fair share defensively, but goodness they are fucking useless in possession. Utd have done okay overall, but not sure if they can keep that level of concentration for the full ninety.
  17. That's a very good summation. Works hard and is very quick, but his touch and even finishing can be really erratic. A decent rotation option as he will get a decent amount of goals, but overall think he may struggle to break into the first eleven. Still prefer Nicolas Pepe personally.
