  1. I remember when he scored against us for Hull. It was the last time I really saw WorkBloo (remember him) happy
  2. Sorry to hear this @Section_31 sadly very common in primary schools. Heads giving as much responsibility on staff as possible with minimum benefits (most TLR pay rises work out at about a fiver a day) whilst still demanding that the, already demanding, day job is flawless for 6 hours a day. This is all caused by the decrease in real terms funding schools receive, being asked to do more with less staff and the pressure falls on people like your missus. This is my 5th year teaching and I've known 5 people who have left the profession who I've worked with and more who've been driven to taking time off for work related stress. I learned very quickly to say no to anything that isn't a core task and to get union backing for it. For such an important job, the conditions can be shocking in a bad school.
  3. Sent a video before of two of those XL bullies mercilessly attacking their owner (according to the video) . People knocking fuck out of them with planks and they didn't even flinch. I get the "it's not the dogs it's the owners" argument to an extent but when you breed an animal that big, that strong and capable of that sort of uninterruptible violence you need regulate it. I know I could walk down the street with a knife and not shiv anyone, but not everyone could. For me, it's the same with those sorts of breeds. How it could be regulated? I'll let someone else come up with that. I've said before, my opinion is that unless someone is in an designated dog area they should be kept on the lead. Blanket rule from Yorkie to Babymauler breeds.
  4. It's finally happened. KidD came downstairs last night upset because last week she was snooping and found the Christmas elf under our bed. She's been questioning it ever since and confronted us. We asked what she thought and she said it was a lie. She was distraught and ended up destroying the tooth fairy and easter bunny (her favorite of them all). We were all crying by the end of it. She seems ok this morning but I'm still traumatised. My little girl isn't so little anymore. How the fuck did that happen?
  5. Let's change the moon-talk to He's Red and make it workable
  6. Ted Lasso. Don't think there was a shit episode. Heart warming television
  7. Won't be captured alive. He knows shit
  8. That I didn't want to get involved in picking the shower curtain and said I, "Didnt give a flying fuck." which one she bought
  9. It's been a while, but I present to you another episode of MrsD's Measurement Mishaps: We needed a new shower curtain so she orders one from Amazon, taking delight in the fact that it was cheaper for a longer one, which she bought. Having taken no measurements of any sort before her purchase, naturally it was so long it trailed in the bath to the point of standing on it during your shower. No problem, she gets some scissors and cuts it by hand, carefully measuring by eye. Now we have a short curtain too short and we're going to have to buy a new shower curtain. fin.
  10. "What the hell happened to her?" "Her husband mentioned he was a bit tired."
  11. A worldwide save from losing that. Their defence is worse than ours
  12. This is where I am. Would've loved Bellingham but we've got 4 internationals for the same price, give or take. Endo, ok not one anyone (except me and @El Rojo) saw coming but he can't offer less than Hendo and Milner last year Szlob and Macca have had a good start and Gravenberch has potential.
  13. Midfield rebuild done. Now defense is our weakness
  14. There is that! Shudder to think of the unregulated carcinogens that are sitting in my skin layers as well.
  15. So, having ordered a few school bits (prizes for the kids, post it's, other things my school won't pay for) from a Chinese supplier, I needed to spend an extra quid to get free p&p. I was suggested some transfers tattoos which I thought would make it daughter laugh. Like the ones you uses to get in sweets and that. I applied them yesterday and could barely see them. Never mind, thinks I, pound wasted. As the day progressed they started to appear, there's no film to scratch off. Having actually gone back and read the description of the product, it appears I've bought, and applied, temporary tattoos to my hands which will last for around 2 weeks. Back in school on Monday and MrsD can't stop laughing at me.
