Neil Jones saying that he's suffered a serious hamstring injury and has probably played his last game for the club.
His last actual game was probably in 2021

Im guessing its the football purists that saw something I didnt. A Hollywood pass here and there, a drop of the shoulder.
Assists? No
Set Pieces? No
Pace? No
Goals? No
Fitness? No
Pressing? No
Huge wages? Yep

Endo probably ran him ragged in their first training session together

Think it was because his dad died mate why he wasn’t in the squadYep- apologies. I had no idea. I only tuned in half way into first half

I’d still take Virgil and Ali over ANY other two in world football.
We lost to Arsenal away, with at least 3 missing.
Did we expect to win every game?
This a tough one out the way. Shame we couldn’t have made a game of it but we aren’t invincible.
Now we will see what Liverpool 2.0 are made of

It was first against second in the race for the league. Fuck the world cup this was much more important.
He was screaming their goals in. The 89 Michael Thomas goal was worthy of it- not Martinelli or Trossard 2024 with about 15 games to play

I didn’t think the ref was that bad. We were just shit.
And the commentary (not Neville, wasn’t sure who it was) thought it was the World Cup final
-
Hate Arsenal. They are a good team. We had big players missing.
No great shakes.We go again

Not really much option on that one, Dave.

Didn’t know that- fair enough

Szoboslai a big miss.
Shouldn’t have dropped Bradley

Saka is world class at running the clock down

Come on Liverpool

Trent won’t like that

Gravenberch and Gakpo are better from
the bench when the game has slowed

If you want a good job doing, do it yourself. Smoked bacon, Braughing sausages, fried bread, egg and black pud. Missing mushrooms as none in hand, but most importantly NO FUCKING BEANS.
Beats some of you lot going and paying a fortune at someplace and having the offering ruined by the obscenity of beans.
Made all the better as it was devoured whilst watching the original 1966 Batman film. Apologies for picture being on it's side, not sure what happened there.
Any sauce? Crying out for some HP -

Appreciate people like to do the easy and shit jokes about his fitness or whatever, but why are people poo pooing his return? Were essentially two points ahead in the league, its not like we couldnt use additional firepower to help keep us up there.
Thiago/Firepower? -

Think you may have missed my point. I expect Arteta to have Arsenal fly at us. We get through that I expect our midfield to get a grip of the game as I think our 3 are better than theirs
My reply wasn’t related to yours as such- I agree Arsenal will fly at us, I just hope the game isn’t ruined (eg- Spurs game) by bad refereeing or VAR

Expect Arteta to have Arsenal revved up to the max Sunday like his maniac self. Get through the first 15 mins and I'd hope we'd get a grip of them. We didn't have Dom for the cup game and had Harvey in the front 3.
I bare the scars of Mascherano away to United and this seasons Spurs game. Let us (and them) play, we win.
Start dishing the yellows and reds in first 20 mins then forget it

We even have our own Danny Zuko

Mudryk would be ideal to play the bad guy in any remake of Grease

Anyone been watching the Miners Strike 1984? Second episode last night. Really good insight into a snapshot of a tumultuous time in the UK.
It's very balanced, the first episode interviewing both those who picketed and those who crossed the picket and the rifts that caused in formerly close towns. I didn't know that the members ballot was actually against the strike.
Last night was about the battle of Orgreave and had interviews with former police as well as some of those the tried to send down for 25 years under the riot act.
Really good viewing.
Yeah, watched it last night. It was a mad time- It was like they actually encouraged the riot at Orgreave by letting them all show up.

In his first pre-season didnt he miss some real open goal sitters and then in the next game score 5?

Im not sure a fully fit Thiago (The Liverpool version) would have even got a look in if we had Endo and Szoboslai available.
Don’t think anyone’s furious he played, I suppose just disappointed we had to even call him up
